  1. I personally don't like dumping the exhaust under the vehicle. It makes it much louder in the cab than if you run some sort of tail pipe out from under the truck. I'm not familiar with the muffler you have but if it's a straight through muffler, the noise and vibrations from dumping the exhaust under the truck might make you think it's running rough when it really isn't. I ran my truck with the exhaust dumped before the axle for a month or two and hated it.
  2. Here's the way I look at it. If there ever was a "FAIL" video of me in my truck being a jack ass, I don't want to be the one filming it. lol
  3. Growing up in Michigan, I couldn't agree more with the last 3 posts.

  5. It's a eaton tvs 2300 supercharger so it's very similar to the Magnacharger L8ERBRO has on his truck. It's just Edelbrock's version. I was looking into them before I did my turbo. I saw some ls3 guys doing them in some Camaro's when I was trying to research them and the people who had them seemed pretty happy with them. From what I remembered reading the Edelbrock had a little more low end power than the maggies but the maggies made more power up top giving them better max power numbers. That was on ls3's though, I don't know of anyone putting one on a lq9.
  6. Does anybody know what part # is for the just the hangers. The truck is a 2005 VHO, same setup as a 2wd SS.
  7. If your making or looking to make 1000hp no matter what muffler you get it's going to be loud and unless you want to give up hp to make it quiet IMO you will probably have some sort of drone at some speed. Especially if the exhaust exits some where under the truck.
  8. I actually saw some polished ones right next to some chrome ones at the GMC dealership and even though over time the chrome might go to $hit, I like the chrome so much I cancelled my order for polished and got me some chrome replicas on order locally.
  9. Not to change the subject but why the hell don't they make these in polished? http://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=260 They make OEM ones in polished but they are close to $550.00 a wheel new. I have Hubcap Haven trying to get me a used set right now.
  10. Well I like the way OEM corners mount with the brackets and I'd like to get the spoiler for my truck but The only ones I've seen are the ebay ones. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
  11. Do the brackets work with the ebay ISS wing kits?
  12. My thoughts exactly. Maybe this guy is really some 12 year old just effing with everyone. lol
  13. I don't know how many optional sizes you'd plan on making but but if it's only 2 sizes I think you'd sell more 20x10 wheels than a 22 over 10" wide. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can fit just about any 22" street tire that would have the correct load rating for our trucks on a 10" wide wheel. They might make car tires in 22" that need a wider wheel than 10" but I bet the load ratings would probably not be enough for our trucks and you might have a hard time getting them mounted by a tire shop. The only 22" tires that even has 12" wide wheels in the recommended wheel size is the 305/40r22. It's also the only one measured on a wheel wider than 10" (11"). Although that tire still fits on a 10" wheel. I personally wouldn't even want to put a tire on the max width wheel because IMO it would probably make it easier to scratch the wheel on a curb. This is just a guess on my part but it's something worth looking into before you make a wheel for trucks that for most part might not even be needed. Sorry if I piss anyone off.
  14. You might find some useful info here. http://www.mightymousesolutions.com/#!mm-black/ca5m
  15. Yeah that one lower is for a PSA AR-10 and I want to build one but PSA is sold out on pretty much every AR-10 upper and rifle kit right now. The other lowers are Anderson's that I got for $39.99 a piece. At that price I don't think I'll lose any money on them. I know nothing is high end stuff but if Hillary gets in office I can only see that stuff going up in value.
  16. Figured I'd better build one and stock up on lowers.
  17. Considering this is the state of my current 20's I might be interested in a 20X9 or 20X10 wheel for my 305/50R20's. Biggest thing for me is it would need to be light weight and I can't do anything with that Matte finish.
  18. i got a mighty mouse catch can. It works good on a 14psi turbo setup. http://www.mightymousesolutions.com/
  19. First off you better make them 6 lug not 5 like the ones in the picture.
  20. I got a Trick Turbo kit and haven't had a single issue with the turbo kit itself. It's been on the truck for over a year and it has to endure Phoenix AZ heat.
  21. I'm pretty sure 15222752 is the gm part number but in several places it shows it as the SS emblem so I'm not sure. I bent one of mine at the car wash but considering it looks like they are going for over $60.00 I'm not sure they are worth it.
  22. I hope you're including tires for $1200.00 because Norcal SS sells the wheels new for $995.00
  23. Thanks. I would have liked to have done better but for the most part I just raced whatever the luck of the draw gave me and unfortunately none of those cars were stock. I probably could have watch more closely to what everyone was running and only tried to race cars that I thought I could beat because there was a decent amount of cars I could have beaten out there but that would have been kind of chicken $hit IMO.
