CUT IT OUT!!!! I'm getting jealous. In all honesty, that pump is badass. That pump with that exchanger and those fans are an incredible set up. You'd never worry about IATs again.
  2. Interested in hearing the rest of this story... Sorry homie. Won't happen again.
  3. There's good info here. Just gotta root through the crap. My vote was for FLT. I've never owned an FLT myself, but I've seen countless builds put down big power with no issues. Even seen them hold up to some badass burnouts.
  4. All BS aside, you'd be well off with an FLT built trans if you want to spend the money. If you have future plans to make big power, might as well upgrade when your trans needs replacing anyway. I've seen FLTs take a beating. Whether it's 1000hp at the track, or idiots doing burnouts. If you don't plan to do much to your motor, probably would suggest a more mild rebuild just to get you back on the road.
  5. Shits clean chad! I vote 3/4 as well. But I'm biased.
  6. You're really into that gay man on man stuff aren't you? All these videos you post of guys making out, and I recall you posting a video on my build thread of guys taking their clothes off and dancing... And now you're fantasizing about me and Brian? You just can't get cock off your mind can you? Or chucks nuts off your chin for that matter...
  7. ^Yup. It's a silver, not a chrome. I robbed one off a trade-in at the dealership a year ago or so. This is an old pic. I'll be sending it out to Steve soon. The trim is kinda neat. Adds a little flair to the boring black bezel. It doesn't quite fit the factory ss white overlay as perfectly as I'd like it too, but I'm sure Steve has white overlays thatd fit it. I think I've got bulbs going out in mine anyway. It's about that time to get it gone through.
  8. Back on topic, I think the OP should buy a FLT. Obviously, that's the better choice. You can do badass burnouts n stuff, and as seen in that last video, his customer service is top notch! He takes very good care of Alan.
  9. Well, I stayed with my sister for about a week. She lives about 20mins from Chicago. It wasn't too bad. Pretty muggy and humid. Getting into a black car with leather seats sucked!! Haha. It took some getting used to. But the area was pretty nice. Her apartment has a pool which was kinda neat. Lots of construction and traffic. The city was quite an experience too. We drove into Chicago, parked the car, and walked for a bit. Saw lots of interesting characters. And LOTS of homeless. But it was neat to see all the exotics cruising through the streets and all the crazy rich people at the sidewalk fancy restaurants. Lol. It's crazy how expensive everything is. With the sky pass toll that charged you to enter and exit the city, plus parking was like $50 for a few hours... But I got to see a lot of the city and go into a lot of the stores we don't have. Went into the Porsche and McLaren dealers. Haha. I stuck out like a sore thumb because I was wearing a tank top and not a suit like everyone else. It's fun to visit, but not sure if I could live there or not. I love to drive, and it just seems so congested. I'd spend more time idling in traffic than driving, but I guess that's everywhere nowadays.
  10. Hahaha That'd be a damn good race.
  11. Hey Chris! Where ya been?! You're missing out on all the excitement around here.
  12. My converter showed up today. But they shipped it UPS w/ signature required... I hate that. I mean, who's home at 1 o'clock on a weekday? Guess I'll have to go pick it up.
  13. Lol! Nah. I'm good. Not a big reefer fan myself. Yeah. No tornados for me! We get earthquakes all the time up here. But most are pretty small. I'll be under a car and it'll start shaking on my lift. Lol! Like WTF!I'm gonna see if I can get some time off here soon and take a trip to Florida and check it out. That's a long drive just to find out it isn't for me. I've got 100hrs or so I gotta spend before I leave. If I cash out vacation, I get taxed like crazy. Hardly even worth it.
  14. Damn. Lucky. I've been wanting to go to TX2K for years. Got buddies that go and send vids. The cars are absolutely incredible. I was reading through the rules and regs for this year out of curiosity. You can't even compete in the roll race unless your 700rwhp+. Lol. Frickin awesome. It's kinda neat the RP raceway allows these cars to run without being dicks about roll cages etc.. Anyway, take a few vids for us when you go!
  15. Looks good to me! Nada is fair pricing. Maybe talk him down a hair. But he does have a few goodies on it. But seems like it was well taken care of. These trucks are going to get harder and harder to find with low miles. If you really want one, I say take what you can get. Haha and let the modding begin!
  16. Looks awesome dude. Don't worry too much about that misfire. We'll get it figured out.
  17. Oh... Lol. :duh: Grass is legal here too. But a lot of people don't know it yet. It isn't widely talked about. They passed it a few months ago and there's a shop opening up right down the road. I live on the hippie side of the city. Hahaha. Lots of college kids with dreadlocks and beanies smokin grass.
