Excited to see how yours does on 15psi!
  2. That's so awesome dude... Ill have to drop my truck off this summer and have you do some sweet stuff to it. Like my wire tuck. You've got so much talent and knowledge in this field. You're shop is going to do awesome. So are you doing mechanical repairs, or restoration? I know you could make millions off your restoration alone. I can't wait to check it out.
  3. Holy crap that's awesome! What other sweet parts are you hiding from me?! I didn't know they had a plug and play 3bar! Awesome! You're the man! Also, the 828 series says 300gph! That's 1135lph! More than enough for my 800lph pumps. Ordering both. Thanks man!
  4. Okay Matt! Yeah. I'll probably leave at noon tomorrow. Maybe Saturday I can swing by and introduce you to my girlfriend. How's the weather/roads?
  5. 3bar?! You plan on going big huh?! Got a link?
  6. Well if you need a good deal on a filter good to almost 500lph, this'll help you out. If you decide to go dual pumps, you'll be in the same position. Up to you though. $35 shipped for a never used filter assembly, an extra screen, and that fitting you need for your return line. And you're sure that your fuel rails don't need -6 o-ring boss fittings? I've got a few extra of those too. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-23001 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-RF040 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-640940 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-220166B
  7. Anybody wanna buy and aeromotive fuel filter?
  8. I was looking at these.. Soon as I know the specs, I'll order one up. I'm sure it's more than enough, but just to make sure. I thought that aero was gonna be enough. http://fuelab.com/products/race/fuel-filters-2/858-series/item/85800_series_high_flow_integrated_filter_check_valve/
  9. Really? Haha so you already new my little Aero wasn't gonna be enough. Hmm... So you must have an inline pump? I'll just get the one 828 and mount it in place of my aero. It'll be an easy fix. However, I can't find the LPH specs on the fuel labs... It just says "high flow". I'll shoot em an email. Thanks again for lookin out!
  10. I'll email fuel lab and see what they have for high flow filters. I'm sure they've got a 10micron in line that'll do the trick... I don't know how I missed that. I was sure it'd flow enough.. Guess not! Good catch!!! Would have found out real quick that I wasn't getting enough fuel. Haha.
  11. Goddamn it... Now I'm not so sure... I mean its just a straight through with just a 40micron screen in it.. Hardly a filter at all... But you got me thinkin so I looked it up. It's rated 130gph, approx 492lph... I've got 800lph in pumps... Hmm..
  12. Eh... Nah. I guess not. Gotta go big on the fuel in case I decide to spray in the future.
  13. That sounds about right. With my automotive, both side ports are fuel returns, and the bottom is the regulated return that goes to the tank. If you only have a single return from the rail, like if you use a crossover up front, then just cap the unused port. I actually planned to use my factory supply as my new return. I ordered everything I needed to make it happen, then said F it. It's just as easy to run a -6 to the tank than to mess around reusing the stock line. I have the GM push type fitting to a -6 male if you want it.
  14. What you talking about? No such thing. On second thought, how bout I leave it where it is, insure my truck for $40k, and see what happens.
  15. I type fast I've never bashed his truck. I've never even seen his truck. Or yours for that matter. I've never made a comment about transmission parts or anyone being a bad builder or whatever. Not sure where all that is coming from. I just cracked a few gay jokes is all.
  16. I got the idea to mount it there from the Camaro forum. That's where a lot of them have been mounting their FPR when running this blower. I thought it looked really good so I decided to put mine there. Lots of empty space back there. But you're right. I didn't even think about that. It looks like it's a lot closer to the cogs in the pic than it really is. I'll take a look at it tonight when I get home. See if I can relocate it or make a scatter shield for the cog belt in the future. Thanks for the input guys.
  17. I'm not even sure what you're trying to say here... I don't "bash" people. I help out anyone that needs it best I can. There's just one individual on this site that I tend to go back and forth with. In this particular thread, I saw an opportunity for a joke asking if "chuck was holding the camera", and that one person decided to take it way too offensively and started this bickering. To me, it's all in good fun. I like getting my balls busted every once in awhile. I don't mean "balls busted" like all over your moms face. I mean "balls busted" as in that comment about mid 12s not being fast and me spending more time bashing than working on my truck... Not like you'd know anything about balls or anything. Brian already enlightened us that due to experimental steroids, you don't have any. And then even went as far as to post the link where you admitted it yourself. And sure, my truck has been down a year. But I've seen a large amount of other builds that have taken much longer. And that's fine. Life gets in the way sometimes. I work on it when I have the time. And I think it takes a lot of work to get these trucks into the 12s and members should be proud of their truck for being that fast. But I felt it needed more so here I am again, modding it and shooting for 10s... There's a lot more that I could say to you, but I'm in a good mood and you're not worth my time. So I'll just leave it at that.
  18. Hmmm.. Good call. I'll just suspend it next to the rail. Just wanted to show off my polished rails best I could. I haven't built that line yet. It's just laying there to see how it'd look.
  19. More progress soon...May be taking a mini vacation to anchorage this weekend. Gonna order up the rest of the stuff I need for my fuel system tonight. That way by next week hopefully I'll be able to finish my fuel system, start on my wiring, and possibly stab the trans!
  20. Got my FPR mounted behind the blower on the firewall. Only took like 2 hours. Haha. I didn't want it to be crooked or off center. Finished the -8 line to the Y block. Need to mount it on the frame and run the dual -6 feeds to the rails. Gotta order more -6, so it'll be a few days before it's done. Finished the return line from FPR to tank and got it routed. Some more pics... You can see all the ugly firewall scratches that need attention. Think I'm going to tuck the return lines under the injectors like this... Keep it clean.

Yup. This is the benefit of electric water pumps. The mechanical pumps are RPM dependent. If you do a 10second run, then come back and shut it off, that heat just soaks. Electrics are nice because you can park it, leave the pump and fans on, and it'll cool much faster. Which is nice when your next run is coming up soon. I'm going to order a relay box and wire everything with override switches. Fans, pumps, etc. Also gotta get a vacuum block. I noticed that my 2300 doesn't have the NPT threads for a Hobbs switch. So I'll just have a block tapped into the lower intake, then run the Hobbs, Fuel pressure regulator, methanol, or whatever.
  22. Yeah. But rather than a column shift, its a console shift. And its a slap shifter I believe. Which is kinda neat.
  23. Could be. I know Nick took out the built 408 he had and put a stock motor in it. The new buyer could have put the 112 on. I don't remember Nicks truck having such low miles though.
