  1. What do you mean by kind? Like, nice people? Lol
  2. Hahaha yeah. I laughed hard when I saw this. I'm sure a lot of us can relate. But I think he needs more money. Haha. Like $40k or so.
  3. https://fbcdn-video-g-a.akamaihd.net/hvideo-ak-xpa1/v/t43.1792-2/10845504_935782369772768_1980706865_n.mp4?rl=1500&vabr=735&oh=bb57d6102ef078252e2a74a4db35301b&oe=54E78CA0&__gda__=1424475675_a970a9cdfeb3b861242e27f3fc5a1aa5 Let me know if the link works...
  4. Anyone remember the source he used? I can see if I can find the box mine came in. Or maybe the company name is on the lights themselves. Give em a call and order up another group buy... I think they're pretty neat.
  5. No actually. Haha. I need to get on that. I'll probably post up my resume' to several Ford dealerships and see which one picks me up. Leaning towards Florida or Colorado. But I don't know much about the states to make an educated guess. Just have to close my eyes and jump I guess. Should be an interesting experience.
  6. I bought mine from the local Chevy dealer. L99/LS3 '10 Camaro SS. Here's the pump and bracket numbers. There are 3 bolts that hold the pump to the bracket, then 3 longer bolts that hold the bracket to the head. They'll be able to get you the hardware if you need it. Bracket-12610792 Pump-92229662 Then of course you'll need to make a new pressure line to gear and longer return line from cooler.
  7. Swapped my 8rib pulley over to the new alt.
  8. Relocating the coils is also on my to do list. And yeah. Harleys got that blower now. He's gonna be tackling that soon I think. Unless he decides to sell it and go with a 376. We're gonna inspect his block and make sure it's ready for boost. It's got 80k on it. If it needs a rebuild, it'll just be getting swapped for a LSX.
  9. Nice! Yeah... I may go that route. I gotta put my money into getting this thing running first. Plus I gotta save for the move that may be happening this summer. Plus, it'll be easier to have the pan shipped to my new home in the lower 48, opposed to shipping it up here. I'm getting pretty excited to leave. To experience the sun and the beach. And of course the truck scene!
  10. Lol. So am I!... Technically. Haha. Remember my MP112 build? The one that lasted me like 4months. Blew up the original motor, built a new engine (finally got it right like the 3rd time), broke 3 transmissions, then decided to pull everything and start this build... All in just one year. And now of course I've been dragging my feet on this build. But this'll be the one. After this is done, I'll finally get to enjoy my truck. And I know I'll be content with the power and with the way it looks. Then I can finally leave it alone and stop dumping money into it... Yeah right... http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/81003-mid12ssss-supercharged-370-build/ You got it!
  11. Ive seen several in person that look as good as oem. One is on my buddy Harleys truck. Its flawless. You just have to know what you're doing when you install it... Now back on topic...
  12. Haha thanks matt. Yeah I think ill be ok once I chop the top half of that bolt off. If no, itll figure itself out Its a 90... Once I get it running, I have other plans yet. Was wanting a plenum spacer and 102 flange w/ a NW or TPIS. But my priority was just to get it running. Matt here is also gonna help me with a wire tuck this summer. He just doesn't know it yet. Haha I hope so. Im sure ill have some questions for Eddie and yourself before this build is over, since you've both already been down the TVS2300 road before.
  13. A template isn't gonna work. Everyones cladding is different, hence the debate on whether to sell with studs attached or not. Epoxy would work great. Much better than wood screws Epoxy would be the way to go with ISS wing corners as well. If I recall, the "reproduction" ISS fiberglass wings come with these tacky angle brackets for the corner pieces that are just waiting to fall off.The 2500psi+ epoxy is like what holds your windshield in. It isn't going anywhere.
  14. I'm re-polishing everything before the final install. Heres my fuel rails all chromed out.. And im polishing my 90mm throttle body at work when the foreman aren't looking Gotta make it purty Also got my new plug wires in. Gave my old set to a buddy cuz he burnt through his. Haha they weren't doing me much good sitting in the bed of the truck anyway. Well, ill keep staying busy throughout the week. Converter should be here tomorrow
  15. Got my LS1 alternator in today and did a "test fit" on the rest of the accessory drive, to make sure there weren't any other surprises. The Dirty Dingo bracket is pretty well built... Didn't come with any instructions but wasn't too hard to figure out the install. Its also got this beefy rear support bracket, which is nice since there is only 2 bolts holding the alternator, instead of 3 like the Camaro/vettes. I actually had to modify the plastic backing on the alternator to get it to cooperate with the block. And despite what I was told, the LS1 alternator isn't any smaller than the one I used to test fit my clearance. It is exactly the same size as the GM truck small case, so I ended up with about the same clearance as I would have with the truck alternator. But oh well. I'm just glad I can make it work. Way better than the LS3 alt/bracket combo. Heres the clearance ive got to the steering box. It doesn't look like much, but itll work. It just barely taps the top left bolt of the steering box when I rock the block forward. So I will end up shaving the head of the bolt down solve that. I just gotta swap out the pulley on the LS1 alternator for the 8rib, and ill be set
  16. This. Great job on everything so far. It turned out really well. I know it takes a lot of work, but damn it looks good when its done Awesome job. I especially love the custom made rear bench. The stock ones are like sitting on a brick!
  17. I just remembered my trans crossmember bushing and shift cable bracket are still on the trans in Harley's garage. And he's gone until next week. So I guess I'll just spend this weekend finishing up some other stuff and worry about the trans install the following weekend. Should have my LS1 alternator tomorrow too. Anxious to see if it'll solve my accessory drive woes.
  18. Nah. It'll look good. I know you've got plans for it. It'll look awesome when it's done. We're just getting the important stuff out of the way first. I can worry about making my paint spotless later. It's gotta actually be fast before I put the money in to make it look fast.
  19. Very nice. Glad to see someone finally took the initiative. SS roll pans have been a rare item for years. There's a pretty big market and I'm sure they'll be in high demand once they become available. Great work. Pans look like they'll do the trick. May have to snag me one of these.

Yeah. It's gonna be expensive if you do it right. You could always put a big pump and good injectors and call it good if you're on a budget. But pump(s), lines, fittings, Y block if needed, regulator, in line fuel filter, injectors... It gets expensive. Especially if you need e85 rated pumps, lines, seals, etc. So that's not too terribly bad. You could probably do it cheaper yourself, but probably only by a few hundred bucks. It's kinda nice having him supply it all as a kit with your bucket already done too. Hell, someone I know spent 1k on injectors alone!
