pretty sure only the super high end carbon fiber bikes are still made here, the rest are made in china (my brother just got a super nice alum trek and the first thing he had to do was pull off the made in china sticker ) My old trek 520 is american made I believe, but its 20years old I do like to buy american. I do not shop at walmart b/c of this and would rather drive than support a company that's mission is to destory small businesses. I have also started to buy my clothes second hand, I would rather support the salvation army than a crappy 'over seas' company.

I only bring up the recaros b/c a guy local just got a CTS V wagon and this was his only issue and then a guy with a coup said the same...seems like a market to devlop a better seat mount I have high hopes for the direct injection stuff...and the direction GM is heading.

I have heard the oppsite and they seem loose compaired to factory seats... Nice choice, looking at the 2011's myself but they are a hot car now, so many guys are getting them(vette owners, M3 owners, BMW guys...) Good addition, it suits your tastes better than a SUV

same happened to my astro van (GM window) and I took it to our local junk yard that does window repair...dumb luck that it got broken out, and when I had it repaired they fixed that part too...think it was $140 and that was with a new motor, you just need the window. good luck, I would take it to someone who deal with windows regularly, what I thought was going to cost over $200 was alot less...

I am no tuner and my experence is all NA...so dont listen to me You set the hard points of data you have, size of new TB. Then you model the air/fuel with a wide band to see how it has changed. Then maybe a set of Baseairflow (cold P and D) Are you using your maf? or SD? Waiting for Kevin...he's the one I do want to hit the track but I still cant drive b/c of my back surgery, If I am lucky I'll try to hit the last one, think I am clear to drive by then.

I have the bug...I could start on the SSS or I have my eye on a volvo 244 turbo Innercooled. What would you do?? I am bored and need something to get me thru this winter. I have also started to think budget stroker? If I turbo the SSS I would build the stuff myself, run a S475... If I get the volvo it would be a daily driver/beeter. Its a cool car because it is the first year of the IC, BUT it has some engine issues so I would have to pull it and find a JY replacement and then start to play. I know alot of this is my back and not being able, but over the winter I need something to work on, build, make... Thanks in advance -joe

that cam, depending on the lobes, is similar to mine. My cam is Livernois stage I. Unless you are planning on going to more displacement I would not invest in a P&P. I would put that money into your fuel system.

log it and get an updated tune. I bet its a 'safe' tune and when you go out in that heat its getting timing pulled.
