when i bought mine AWD was all there was..living on Long Island with the winters, i needed 4x4. AWD filled that need, and now here in So CAL it still rains, and we get snow up here. YES to AWD it also keeps me from having to replace rear tires all the time..

glad you found the problem.. now mine is acting up. changed my battery out, and now the AC not coming on, recirculate not working, also my vent controls, and rear defroster. checked all fuses i can find all good.. any help up date... just disconnected the battery for 15 sec. hooked it back up and all fine..

REMEMBER.... those numbers are what the factory rates with factory installed tires. if you change tires to non stock, those numbers WILL change. so when you look to replace your tires, check the weight rating on them. always better to go a little higher than lower...

can't hear anything also.. what you may be hearing is "header tick". normal sound when exhaust gases exit the head. yea it will sound like a exhaust leak. put a couple 100 mi on it and check all your flanges for any sign of carbon build up.. good luck

will after 65 mo. my stock AC Delco battery is giving up the ghost not holding a charge. the question is, at what voltage will the ECM louse memory. i can charge it up for about 10 min @10 amp charge and it will start. alt puts out 14-14.3 volts. let sit over night and it will drop down to about 8 volts. i need to replace the battery, but i have a smog inspection due in July and i would hate to find out that I'm going to need a run cycle to pass. truck only sees about 100 mi per month now.. thanks

best thing for you to do is let them search..if your clean, then you have nothing to worry about. if you refuse, more than likely you will be kissing the hood of a Crown Vic while the officers break out the tool bags and start disassembling your ride on the side of the road. then they might call in the 125 lb fur wrapped ass eater from K9 to take a walk across your nice leather seats..if you have nothing to hide, be polite to then, yes sir no sir and always have a on your face.

how do your break pads look. you may have a glazed pad/hard spot on them, or a build up of break dust. best i can come up with but a good place to start looking.. good luck

the dealer here in town closed over 6 weeks ago. had my car in for service, and when they pulled it out, the mechanic was pushing his tool box right behind it..what sucks is the closest dealer is 50 mi away, and there not doing good ether. if they close, next closest is 110 mi..

how short is short..?? my daughter is only 5'2, and ever since i have had the SS, and my 01 Z71 she has learned to grab the O-SH*T bars and jumps right in BTW- some people over someone putting running boards, or step bars on a SS..i feel if you need to have them for someone to get in/out safely, then do what you need to do good luck on it..
