Anyone replace all their brake lines?
evandostert replied to demonte1997's topic in Suspension & Brakes
He is talking hard lines. Northeast weather=rusted out hard lines. I know they make a stainless kit to replace them all. Dealer now has a discount on a repair kit. Not sure of the specifics on it. I was looking at these for a work truck. http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-07-Chevy-GMC-Truck-Pre-Bent-STAINLESS-Brake-Lines-1500-2500-3500-/310684224446 The braided kits are Just caliper to hard lines. I have those they are cheap and easy to do. -

I went shorty for ease of install. Why mess with harness and run spacers and try and figure out bolts. The price difference wasn't even worth it.

I am cleaning up my truck inside now. Sick of my worn out stock interior and pillar pod. I want something cleaner like maybe a more simple grey anodized part like this. http://www.sporttruck.com/featuredvehicles/chevy/0505st_custom_chevrolet_silverado/photo_03.html No flames please.

I can't see that holding up to my elbow and it pulling down.

Looks like you have room to grind a little off caliper. I fit 16's for winter wheels over drop spindles. I have about the same clearance

Before I rip off my door panels. The fabric sections above the armrest and bottom by lower door pocket. Do they remove from the door panel. I want to refinish my interior in a little alacantra fabric. Hoping to wrap door panel fabric pieces steering wheel, grab bars and pillars in it. My doors and wheel are a tad beat. http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/jpm/shop-materials/genuine-alcantara.html

Back on the road tuned up and running smooth. Need bigger injectors after my cam swap then I am hitting the track.

I just swapped a cam. I kept idle at 1500 for 15 min. Runs fine now. I would change oil asap. Mine was nasty full of assembly lube black and silvery. Changed oil back to normal mobil one clean. I think my 100 miles of driving was too much change oil asap.

I think you should sell DVD copies of the class. Say 200$ for a video. I would try it out. I saw a little of banish on you tube clips. Looks like much room for improvement from his stuff.
