  1. I placed 2 el cheapo ebay resonators in front of the magnaflow. NO DRONE anymore. More like last 9 years now still sounds great.
  2. I have been fighting belt squealing with my truck for years now. I finally want to fix it permanently. 03 silverado SS has made a small amount of noise for years. I replaced the tesioner and belts cleaned all surfaces with degreaser. Whats next? sick of the hearing it. need a little noise. I am thinking pulleys need to be roughened up a little. Any ideas?   5. Well to make a long story short. I am to lazy to find used hydroboost parts or source them and hope they work. Does anyone make a hydroboost kit lines hydroboost and pedal. Power brake service has a kit. Only one I can find.
  6. Fuel rails will fit. Mine took a smack to seat over the hump of the FAST. Looks like they don't fit. They do and with an 03 fuel system I wanted to keep the fuel reg thing on it and the factory fuel connections. Fuel leaks stink,

  9. I think most of the smack talking about these intakes with regard to leaking is poor tuners.
  10. That's my write up. I would do it again, However a few changes 1=I would get a vapor kit like the keith urban or ebay kit. it's a mess if you run the adapter plate. A 102 or adapter 90 to 102 is a must. or else it has drivability problems. if installed correctly it will not leak but has to much size and flow it needs a proper tuner it looks and acts like a manifold leak but was fixed by proper tuning. I now wanna try and add some pressure to it with a procharger I upgraded to 4" maf and intake plumbing. Used a spector maf tube for card style and intake with a new silicone elbow. Thats when you notice a snappy throttle response.
  11. Went for inspection today with 5% on the back three windows and 15% up front. Legit, passed.
  12. I let my SSS sit around in storage for a few weeks. When I start it again my brakes are lacking in power. I have to pump up the pedal a few times before I drive away. Driving it daily everything is fine. Allow it to sit for a couple weeks and they lack vacuumm or something. Should I be concerned or it that just the way it is?

Wondering if it's just tape holding the door saver on. That might be next.   15. I just purchased a pace car. This is the actual winston cup series car with only 14k on it. I was going to just collect it. But I absolutely loved the way it drives. Smooth fast comfy. Complete sleeper. Pretty modified from chevy. I am trying to discover whats all done to it. Pulley, ported, tuned, air box are the only obvious mods. I am well aware I killed the value and perfectly fine with that. I picked it up super cheap with 15k miles. I couldn't have purchased any new car for the price of this.

  18. I would pay for a cam recommendation. Try a true expert like Pat G, tick performance or flow tech induction. Zippy has a cam sticky that is priceless.
  19. Black bear sent a first adjustment. I sent him a scan with that then he will make a few final adjustments from that. I saw your exhaust on another page looks amazing. This is just a cheap spectre housing, ebay wiring adapter and a 2012 camaro MAF. I gotta stick to some budget. I just picked up an f-body beater while I clean the truck up. New interior next. Engine and tranny by the end of the summer.

    Clean metal is the only way to prevent rust. Fluid film is a great way to prevent is from coming back.
  22. I took my intake off at 100k. Full of crud from the pvc system. I would start cleaning that the MAF. Try a tune. NED is a great track at a low elevation for good times. O2's are sluggish with age as well.
  23. Thinking of making a few runs with the truck and car. Who is up for a trip to the dragway. Maybe a small group get together.
  24. I am on it. Yes you need to stay active for the market you work in.
