  1. Well only 26K on it when I picked her up this week. Flawless condition. A bunch of SLP stuff on it. The truck will always be my favorite. This is just my fun toy. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  2. The SS have had it for ten years. I plan on keeping it until it's completely dead rusted out mess. Reliability is still amazing. I want a new car. Something that fits into city parking spots and is a little different. I am wanting this but am thinking it's gonna turn into a nightmare. Repair and upkeep looks pricey. I don't want AWD I have the SS for that. I want an extra car to enjoy for the next ten years. Reviews like this and a test drive have stirring the FR-s idea around Wish I could rent one for a week.
  3. I need an economy car. I have been looking for something around 25k mark. The $200 weekly gas bill is gettting out of hand. I have the 03 SS silverado and a Jaguar. Both are gas pigs. Problem is I keep finding awesome LSX and porsche deals. I went to a dealer and found an 05 CTS-v with 35ish miles for 22K, a GTO for about the same deal a boxster s but ok on MPG but some IMS shaft may cause the engine to implode yet all were immaculate garage kept beauty's Help me find something reliable and economical. This is the list so far The contenders so far fr-s, GTI, Focus ST, The FR-S is winning the group but compared to a used CTS-V or GTO These econoboxes are garbage.
  4. Thanks for the link. I am going to have my stock wheel re wrapped with a thick padding underneath. Check the sale section. Maybe 3k miles will be on it.
  5. omg not another google gmc denali bike. People were trying to use them against real road racing bikes a few years ago. I am also on bicycle forums. I have all salsa bikes. I watched someone try a cycling event on one. They finished it. I guess or cash is real tight. http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/606750-Anybody-familiar-with-the-Gmc-Denali-road-bikes
  6. That might have been me. Look like this. I was heading up the mass pike Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  7. tucked away on a road trip Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  8. This looks correct but look at this picture is the airflow going the right direction??. The snow slowed me down. I am gonna wait till next week to install it. [/img] 4" tubing looks huge. No way I am flowing enough to max this out. [/img]
  9. I just found this and am very temped http://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=570659
  10. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Love the thick grip and feel of it. Hate the plastic lack of leather. The wheel has a line from the plastic mold that is unfinished and is very annoying. Completely unneeded grant logo. I would love to have this finished in alacantra like a lovely BMW wheel. I am gonna call a few local auto upholster shops.
  11. My seats are garbage thinking of http://www.clazzioseatcovers.com/
  12. I am currently working on an 4" intake and ls7 MAF. What adapters are going to work This one says LS2 to LS7 http://www.speartech.com/product_p/ls3mafadapter.htm will this work?
  13. Ok I found a 2500hd 6.0 for 500$ with 60k I assume I want a 4032 kit for my build? Why do no local builders want to warranty the work they provide? Sounds sketchy to me I want an iron sleeved lq9 427 but I think I may just go down the 402/408 road like everyone else. they sleeve them locally http://www.reidsautomotive.com/Darton_Sleeves_Sleeve_Installtion.html
  14. I am looking at picking up another engine for my truck to build up. I have been slowly building parts up. I want to build from a junkyard core. What other engines share the same block, sensors and covers. I have found a bunch of deals on lq4 engines. What donor trucks should I be looking at??? Will a 03 block from a 1500hd or 2500 line up?? also many denali options more $$$ What about 04 and 05 didn't they change senors to ls2? I am gonna build it up and swap it into my truck
  15. excuse the salt and snow need aim them and im good [/img] Uploaded with ImageShack.us factory switch at night. The only way to go. Uploaded with ImageShack.us The plugs and wires were all just hanging around waiting for an install.
  16. Don't forget your cab vents. mine were old and making noise.
  17. Trying a different approach. Sick of behind the brake lights and going to try and use factory wiring. Sunday project if it's not to cold. 50 bucks with H.I.D bulbs off the bay and looks like they are sealed and sturdy. I am going to run a little RTV just incase. Switch was 21 off amazon.
  18. I am trying to find a seat heater module for my 03 silverado SS I found a deal on part number 15283584 is this an old gm number what years does it fit?? Can anyone look it up?
  19. I am using this stuff http://www.kellsportproducts.com/ so for so good. Brake lines are the first to go.
  20. Use it for ass and look for something else. Really?
  21. both are too big 3.73's and big tires. Look at the cam sticky
  22. dorman looked like sh$t compared to GM part. chunky wires and bad coverage
  23. I have an 03 silverado SS. I need a heated seat module. $400 from my dealer with a discount. I can't find any alternatives except a $350 dorman part. Any ideas where to pick one up cheap. Will a used one work without special programming?
  24. I am doing this myself. I want everything to line up like factory. I don't want headaches. Knock sensors different heads trying to line up my LSXRT intake are all a very large pain. I know I won't have these issues using the block already in it. 408's are great. I want a little more. I know a 427 without the sleeve will cause piston rocking.
