  1. the vibration in mine got really bad so i took it to my dealer (we have a good relationship so they dont give me trouble about mods and speed ) and they changed the front diff side bearings and it was smooth for a while but 20000 later its back only at high speed tho .
  2. with the radix . engine is built now so it would be different than yours and no 1/4 mile on new engine yet have to wait for snow to clear and there are no awd dynos anywhere near me
  3. i really like my afr 225 made a huge difference on my stock engine , i couldnt beat a lightning then i switched cam and heads and was able to rip him a new one
  4. i had my radix installed at 7500 and my trans blew at 36000 went to smaller pulley and heads and cam then engine went at 53000 but if u were to leave it as a stock radix i would think you should have no problem getting 80000 out of it if you dont drive like a mad man like me
  5. thanks . i am going down to talk to the shop that does my work next week . i read thu the posts but may have missed it what are you using for a throttle body ?

  7. does it come with bigger injectors ? what kind of boost can i expect with my 403 ? does it have a bigger throttle body or is one on the way ? is there a core return on my current 112 ?

  9. has any one heard any hp numbers for the new radix ? and how it will be sold ? (bigger injectors that kinda thing ) also heard rumours of a 105mm throttle body from magna that will bolt up to our drive by wire

    yeah i was thinkin of puttin on my winter wheels early they are only 18s but i have blizzaks on them and they wear out fast but that would definatly be lighter than the 22s

    lined up with a 2005 ford diesel qc with a built motor and a twin turbo set up runnin 55lbs of boost i got him by a half truck out of the hole then he started to pull and at about 80 he passed me i stayed at his rear bumber until 110 when i blew by him . i am only at 6psi i need to get that 2.75 pully for more boost
  13. from what i have read in car mags the T/A in smokey and the bandit had a "700hp nascar motor " not sure if they are just passing on rumours or if its true but that car hauled ass in the movie
  14. yeah it should be . but knowing that it should be able to do it and wont is frustrateing and the motor seems fine no complaints in the computer its just the blower very odd
  15. gee thanks mom . i didnt relize i would offend people by talkin about speed , its not like i weave in and out of traffic at 140mph . there happens to be a secluded section of divided highway where i live so we go there to do top speed runs . but i am not here to deffend what i do or appologize for it . i am just lookin for some help with a problem that seems to be unique to me . cant we all just get along
  16. oh and on a dyno there is no wind resitance so i doubt you would pull that on the highway . takes a lot more power to do it in the real world
  17. i called magnason and they said it must be belt slipage . that doesnt sount right to me cause it only happens at that one point . they said the bypass valve cant dump boost like a blow off valve no one seems to have an answer to this problem or they just dont want to be resposible for me flyin down the highway at 150+mph in a truck
  18. actually i would like to pull 6000rpm in 4th , 4500rpm is just where it stops right now
  19. i tried sliding the bypass valve back on its mounts this didnt do anything . should i try another spring ? someone said that 4400rpm in 4th was 140mph or so, this is the only time this happens and no one seems to know why . has anyone with a radix pulled over 5000rpm in 4th gear ? there has to be an answer to this
  20. well i talked with westers he says its not a computer problem . bothe lyndon and davenport suggested that my by pass was opening under the high load at that speed . it does have some adjustment so i will try that tonight if not maybe a different spring . am i the only radix to go this fast ? i am only makin about 7.5 lbs of boost there are people on here that are running more than that with a radix .
  21. thats what i thought but why would it be there GM has no reason to put it there and my truck is still pulling hard when it happens . hopfully westers has an answer cause that srt 10 needs a beating
  22. cause i can . but i have never heard of anyone else hitting a secondary limiter and our trucks dont even have 4th gear wot until you program them guess i will call westers see if he knows
  23. i have 4th gear wot on my truck but when i hit about 4500rpm i loose all boost and i cant hear the blower whine . any ideas what this could be or even happend to anyone else . it was happening before i rebuilt the engine

    is it the complete kit or just the intake and blower ?
