I would stay with a gm efi system than going after market. Sure you can tune a carb with a sledge hammer, but I prefer a fine assortment of screwdrivers, and aftermarket systems are very barberic Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
The viscous coupler can transfer power to either axle from the fore mention split to 100% to either axle depending on axle slip. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

If you are planning on a 6speed manual, then you'll be ok. And as long as you get an e67 pcm, you will be able to tune it Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
Will I need bigger injectors?
chpspecial replied to Ccanno66294's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
Stock 8.1l truck injectors will also work for those mods, but won't leave much grow room. They are 32# Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
The main reason for drum brakes was the parking brake issues. The 05+ biggest gain in breaking wasn't the drums in the rear, it was the larger front set up. Do the 05 plus on the front of an awd sss and see the difference in breaking. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

From personal experience do not use the e-rod wiring harness, it has a seperate trans controller that is a joke. Go with a reputable vendor and get either an ls1 or an e38/67 pcm and have it modified for stand alone use Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
Should be the same fittings. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

Clamping power is much less in he corvette set up vs willwood and Baer. Also, gm uses 6 equal size pistons, which is horrible for pedal feel. Willwood and Baer use 3 different sized piston on each caliper for better pad wear, pedal feel, and pedal modulation. Just because they are six piston doesn't make them a performance caliper. However if you use your break calipers like an on/off switch it doesn't matter Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

Help with RX monster oil catch can. Please
chpspecial replied to Blazerdave2000's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
Drivers side Pcv line to catch can, catch can to intake manifold. If it has check valves make sure that the open towards the intake and close when boost tries to enter the valve cover Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
Only with the moats road runner. Hpt has a pseudo rtt, not all os are supported nor do I know how well it works Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

rikensport went out of business due to the influx of cheap china made HID's, their product couldn't compete with the low priced inferior stuff. Still rocking my 7 sets, 2-ss, 2-gmc, 2-bmw, 1 brothers truck

Dual pistons. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

I don't remember the colors, just that they are the two end wires

New owner. Need help. Problems after 2 days!
chpspecial replied to JustinS's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
A clogged cat will not cause a REP mode. Just loss of power... In this case, its going to be a loose connection between the throttle body, TAC module, or pedal Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
The are the same heat range as the ngk tr6, except they are non projected style and are not iridium. So they are good for nitrous, or high boost

What Yall' Think? Mulit-Gauge Monitor!
chpspecial replied to iSh562's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
The SSS's where not branded as 1ss 2ss 3ss, they only had one rpo for all and that was 1ss which refered to the exterior trim, not inside. The rest where option. The nav that iSh562 has is not oem. However, you can get any non-lux TNR and it will be plug and play, you will just need a tech 2 to do a vin relearn unless its a brand new unit -
Sonnax Super Hold 4th Apply (help!)
chpspecial replied to bloodymesss's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
you are going to have to have a knowledgeable person look at the amount of play on your 2-4band. that is the correct way of determining if you need to grind the pin or not. In some cases it needs to be lengthen -
This might save your boosted motor

Or an ls1 head coolant vapor lines. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 -
No, you can not increase the hard boundaries set by the pcm. We can only manipulate what's there, but not increase them. A custom os by efilive increases the map boundary from 1bar to 3bar. Otherwise you will still be limited to a 1bar tune. Now if you want a task, there are a few guys who have removed the stock ls1 pcm and went with an e38. Those have native boost tables and a 16000Hz maf. Plus no need for a tac module with them. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

Keep in mind that you will NOT be able to wrench on your truck in that garage.... Been there moved on... Unless you can add a second garage, I would pass on the house.
