When you say the engine way professionally built, does that mean when you swapped cam, springs, reatiners, pushrods and heads( or everything that come with the AFR head) that they went through the whole engine and rebuilt it? or does it mean you added these parts(cam, heads, intake) to a 80,000 mile engine? Just trying to get it all clear because their would be alot of questions. thanks

My Superchips tune that came with my radix caused detonation at part throttle and at full throttle. Not all the time but it was their. I had a mail order tune done and haven't had any problems since. I was only running the stock 3.4 pulley on my 5.3. So I would suggest either contacting sueperchips or getting real tune.

Honestly because their a bunch of ****'s. They know guys like us will get them and mod the hell out of our trucks. They don't make the lightning anymore but it will be back. Rousch is like sending our trucks to a performance shop and having a blower and suspension put on. The 450hp their advertising is flywheel. 14.8 sounds about right in one of those. I just want, just like everyone else is a 6.0 or 6.2 supercharged and put in a regular cab 4x4 or AWD. 3.73 gears with a nice leather interior with the option of a T56 or Built auto 6 speed. Hell they can give me only a 12 month warranty I would be happy. MSRP $35,000. They would sell more then they could build. Once again we are talking about the guys who run the company.

I have the VHP 216/224 trucker cam with 551/551. I have 918 springs, I am wondring which pushrod and retainers and lock to get. Brand, length I have no idea. I know stock is 7.4 but would the length change?

which ram air version? options? that has a whole lot to do with that price. I beleive the one at Barrett Jackson was a ram air IV which makes it super rare since it was also a convertible.

you should be able to have them do it of a ls6 or ls1 intake. if they haven't done one, honestly I don't think I would have them do it. Because if even one peice or weld it wont perform like it is suppose to. hand made stuff is real tricky about that.

confuguration is 3 inch inlet/ dual 2.5 outlet. casing size is 4" wide x 8" tall x 12" long. The normal bassani 4x8 are at the smallest 16" long. here is some stufff from their site. I ran that exact setup with out cats. The only difference is they exited before the Passenger tire. Those round maggies sound alot better then their mufflers IMO. I didn't get a chance to dump them but I know that would give it a great tone. Ebay and Texas speed and performance and and Speed Engineering are all grat places to get them from coated or uncoated. good luck

I will be using shortly a 216/224 .551/.551 LSA 115 from Vinci. This can be a good cam for NA but a real nice cam for FI. This is going in a 5.3. Should hopefully happen at the end of February if I am not to busy.

used ones on Ebay, pretty much a new one everyone charges close to the same.

what size tires do you have on your truck? that could make those 4.10 turn into highway gears(Ratio change) like if you went to a little larger tire it could make them feel more like the 3.42 in their. I have 3.42 in my new truck with a radix and stock tires and I get about 20 MPG but I run it 80+ on the highway.
