  1. nope it's the 420S new tire they jsut came out with. I have a link above in another post.
  2. I agree with you, and that might just be what happens, I was actually thinking about what I was talking about above and if I don't like it it will still be black enough not to see and flip that side around to facing the back. WIth their statement I thought you could put them anyway, but it freaked me out when it actually said this side out and this side in. It had me dumb baffled also. Hell the whitewall wasn't on their website either, shit who knows what their talking about now, I know the one of the engineers their didn't know shit. That's a fact!
  3. well I have talk to a few people. Best thing to do becasue damn it I am not giving up. Take a big Permanent marker go over the white wall 2 or 3 times then use this stuff to help match the color. forever black as they state keep it away from white letter tires and white wall becsue it actually dyes the rubber. So what do you guys think about that, these tires are really sweet and since I have gotten rid of my old ones I am just going to keep them unless I can work something out with the guy that sold me them.
  4. that's what I thought, but they do have a most definite outside and inside, it's listed on the tire. However you can move them around on your truck but their all mounted exactly the same. So you can flip flop front to back and side to side but you can't actually take the tire and flip it to the other side of the rim. get what I am saying. I know you guys thin I am stupid but I have talked to the engineers who built this tire and their dumb founded on what to do. I jsut want to cover up the damn little white belt in the middle.
  5. NITTO S Ok this is suppose to be the 3 different views from a different website. See the tread pattern? the big grooves have to go inside, the tires are actually marked with an inside and outside, they have a wheel protector lip on them and stuff. They told me if I did switch them around they would ride and wear like crap.
  6. sorry don't have a digi. If you could imagine a completely black truck except for the chrome wheels you can see why it would stick out so bad. it's only 1/2 wide but still, it sucks. I have been trying to call anyone and everyone to figure out a solution to jsut cover the white wall up. Nitto wasn't any help at all, and the guy who sold them to me hasn't been either.
  7. that would work but these tires are a symetrical so you can only run them one way. their is a destined outside and inside and they differ with the foot print. I just talked to Nitto and I stumped them and they were pretty stupid and didn't know about their tires coming in whitewall and why they only did it in one size and didn't list it anywhere. I bought them off ebay from twoadayparts and I have emailed him. I like the tires but I was cheated on this. If I could just cover the white up I would be happy as long as it doesn't look noticable.
  8. Ok, my new Nitto tires got here a few days ago and I got them put on this morning, well I show up to the the tire place that I had them put on at. Not the same place I bought them. Well I get out and see my truck with these tires and they have a freakin WHITE WAll on them . I am pretty much color blind that is why I didn't see it before because it was covered up by the coating they put on it. I feel so stupid. the white wall is about 1/2 inch think and I called Nitto and low and behold they only make one white wall tire and it only comes in one size. That's my size. 295/50/r20, they do not make that size without it. I was so pissed that Nitto nor the Dist. had said anything about this anywhere. So I need a fix to take care of the whitewall. these are some Bad ARS tires, and I love them, but they look so stupid on my black truck. Any help Please. I was worried about using a marker that the white might still come through or you will be able to see how uneven the marker is. I would like a permanent fix. thanks Guys.
  9. Ok I have 04 VHo with a mild tune and intake and exhaust. I will be buying pacesetter headers as soon as this question is answered. currently I am running (2) 2 chamber flows dumped with 6 inch echo tips. It sounds pretty good but I know it doesnt flow worth a crap. I use to have a (and still have in the garage) a dual in single out maganlfow muffler weld in from the stock pipes dumped. 2.5 dual in with 3inch single out. at the time it was jsut to quiet with the cats and stuff still on. However when I get the pacesetters installed I am taking the cats out and I think I need an x pipe? what size do I need? Also should I get a different muffler? I don't like popping when I am accelerating slowly and do like a serious growl or bark when I punch it or jsut steady on the throttle. Long term plans are going to be a cam install with a converter, retune and maybe some 4.10 gears if it comes around. thanks guys
  10. Corsa does not sell only the muffler, your best bet is jsut keep an eye open for someone who wants a different muffler but wants to keep the rest of the system. Ebay might have one every once in awhile but I have only seen one muffler sold by itself and that was 2 years ago on LS1TECh, but I have been out of the loop for along time. Good Luck
  11. if your adding another muffler to the mix it will actually quiet it down. I have true duals on my vho with 40 series, it not bad but I threw some 6 inch tips welded directly to the muffler for more sound. I am getting tired of the sound now jsut becasuse it doesn't have enough bark for my liking.
