Even with my agressive timing and leaded gas? I'm pretty sure I'm a little rich right now just based on smell. I'm changing my plugs along with this install so I guess that'll tell me.

Thanks for the info! My o2's are already deleted due to my gutted cats. Do I use that thread locker on all of the holes? I have to run mufflers unfortunately to stay in my class with the NHRA. I already thought about the cheap gaskets and bought some Stock GM Gaskets (the metal ones).

Anyone know? My directions didn't say. Also, can I just bolt these things up and go (not talking about welding...I get that part!)? I know that tuning will make them perform "best/better" but will it not run right without a re-tune? I have a BIG race coming up and no time to test before hand so I either need to know exactly what to change in the tune or whether I can deal with it after the event. TIA...

15th with the SS this weekend. I also was runner-up on Saturday bringing the grand total for the weekend to $800 and a BIG trophy for the win on Sunday. It was a great weekend. This isn't to brag about myself...It is a huge thanks to everyone here for all of the insight, advice, and help that everyone has given me. Because of this site I have been able to turn my truck into a proven bracket race winner. I really appreciate everyone here and the site in general. At the track, for the most part, no one understands my truck and my set-up but I can always count on this site to help me out. I just went back to Mobil 1 from Lucas (easier to get). I use 5w20 with a K&N Filter.

I reccomend MSD.

Ok, you're killing me here! I don't know what to look for on the log. What's the new table area? Will the LT's hurt anything or are these changes just recommended for better performance? Sorry, but I'm a novice idiot tuner! Thanks...

Hey Zippy, I'm adding Lont Tube Headers soon and reconfiguring my exhaust. Basically the set-up will be really short and free-flowing. Is there anything I should change in the tuning? Also, my rear o2's were deleted by Bryan. If they are deleted, they don't need to be hooked up at all correct? Thanks.

Sorry to hear about that nightmare of a trip! I'm not sure exactly why you would want to move to the most one of the most expensive and crowded places in the nation but welcome to SoCal! I can't wait to get out of here someday!

I just signed up so I have not bought anything using the program yet. The way I see it is even a little bit helps so while there may not be any really big deals out there all of the time, the little savings ought to add up.

Congrats! I was excited to hit 800 yesterday. I don't think I'll ever reach 3000! The board will probably disband by then!

I was sleeping in my condo. My wife at the time called me and told me to wake up and turn the news on. I blew her off because I figured she just wanted me to get up earlier than I normally did. Since I was awake, I got out of bed and saw the carnage. I was stuck in a state of fear, shock, and sadness all combined at once. It was an overwhelming experience that I'll never forget. I was working for the Disneyland Resort in their Security Communications Center (like a dispatch center). I immediatly got ready and headed to work as I imagined things would be crazy there. To my surprise, Disneyland had completely shut down all operations for only the second time in its history. That day was the most eery and frightening day I have ever experienced. It is amazing how it effected so many people, even those that were thousands of miles away like myself. I can only imagine the horror those close to the scene must have felt that day.

That's what I thought after looking at them, thanks! I figured I'd just buy some heat shield stuff/wrap just to be safe. Can you tell me what that bracket thing is on the passenger side unit? I assume I plug it with provided materials correct? Also, do I need to do that o2 extension crap? TIA...
