  1. Again, I ask...Does anyone have an accurate part number for the Pace Setters? 12's ROCK??? Chase??? Thanks.
  2. Let em go for 500 and we have a deal!
  3. Those sound good too, I just couldn't find them. Do you have a part number for those? In general, headers are headers as long as they don't leak so all I am concerned with is easy installation.
  4. Ok, I'm sold on the PaceSetters but I need a part number if anyone can help. I want to make sure I'm getting the right ones. TIA...
  5. Thanks for the offer, but I don't need cats so I'm gonna save some money. Ya'll make it sound easy and since I've had my exhaust apart several times and my stock manifolds are already gone, sounds like it should be a piece of cake for me. Thanks everyone.
  6. Thanks for the input everyone. I'm still deciding if I want to deal with install because it doesn't sound very fun. I had my shorty's installed and they told me that it was a pain.
  7. I used one when I had a Volant and I am using part of one with my Outlaw now. I got a deal on mine from another member so it was worth it for me. $140 is a rip off IMO. If you are handy with mild fabrication you could probably make one for a fraction of that cost. If I were you, I wouldn't spend that money. Plus, it really makes the filter dirty a lot faster.
  8. Are they worth hassle and the price? I have no smog issues and I am currently running shorty's with no cats. Will I see noticable gains over my current set-up if I were to switch?
  9. Ooh yeah! I think I can win this one. I'll post up pics as soon as I can. I've got the ugliest Nissan 240SX. I think I've washed it 3 times in the year and a half that I've owned it! It has no suspension (struts are blown out) and a nice dent in the right front fender.
  10. From what I know about them on other applications, there are no issues. They flow better and are much more efficient, especially in racing applications.
  11. Anyone know if someone makes an electric water pump that'll work on an 03 SSS? TIA...
  12. Sorry, gonna have to miss this one. I getting married the week after and I think I'll be pretty busy.
  13. I bet it is now actually. You've all but disabled the pcm with all of the custom tuning you've done. Once you get the right boost figured out, I'd bet you'd have no problem bracket racing.
  14. Yes I did! There is no better way to bracket race than with AWD drive and a comfy leather interior! Thanks for the kind words Mike. BTW, 06VHO is being very modest in forgetting to mention that he also won his very first Wally on the same weekend in his Vega. It was a great event and a great weekend for both of us.
  15. That's too bad if true. If it is, there are plenty of others here that can help you out. I recommend Zippy.
  16. I found my KR to be false since I am running 110 octane. I removed some timing in the RPM range where I was seeing KR and it didn't go away. This lead me to beleive that it was false due to engine/exhaust noise. To fix it, I turned my knock sensor sensitivity waaaaay down. Now there is zero KR at WOT.

Shouldn't she be blowing you off? I'll be there around 6ish. I'm gonna try to skip out of the the line because I have a handy dandy staff badge!
  19. Just the cam...I would look to go 3200 or higher but you may want to consult Zippy on this. He's the expert. I checked recently and it is indeed a Comp Cam. Let me know if you're interested...just sitting on the bedroom floor right now!
  20. Chase, I can assure you that they enforce all NHRA rules as it is one of the oldest tracks in the country and they are pretty serious with that stuff. I've raced there several times and it's a great track, but, IMO, in August, I don't think the corrected altitude will be that great due to the heat. There is more oxygen in the air there which may be a huge help for your set-up. Good luck if you go. Just lift at the 1000' cone on your first couple of runs and save the full pass for the end. If you run too fast they'll kick you out so better to save it for the last!
  21. You could take off the rear bumper but that's some work too. Why are you woried about tire pressure in an AWD truck? I've raced my truck since the day I bought and have never touched my tire pressure. Lose the back seat and tail gate. You may want to leave the lid on for aerodynamics.
  22. I currently look for terrorists and shoplifters at the Happiest Place on Earth (that's the Disneyland Resort for anyone not on this planet). Another way of saying it is Security Special Services (Disney-ese for Loss Prevention). I'm the lead trainer for that department of Security. In a couple of weeks I'll be starting my new role at Disney as Intelligence Specialist, Security Special Services. In this role, I basically surf the internet and telivision looking for terrorism or safety related issues that may effect the Resort or the Anaheim, CA area. It's a 0600-1430, M-F desk job and very easy money IMO. Next September, I'll start my career as a high school history teacher. Oh yeah, I am also a part-time announcer at California Dragway when I'm not racing. Before anyone asks, yes, I get free tickets and discounts at Disneyland. PM me if you're ever planning a trip there and I'll see what I can do.
