  1. well KY is a SEC school so I've got to root for Auburn but doubt they win. We(UK) almost beat them and we suck lol. Defense wins this game. SEC has won the last 4 championships!! Best conference in the nation
  2. glad somebody like a budy wasn't walking behind you. You got what you deserved for driving drunk. Next time don't do it and thank god you didn't get hurt or hurt someone else
  3. I think most of the 2003's stickered for $40K+ but I doubt many people paid sticker.
  4. Vette/Truck payment are a litle less than what I was paying on my SS so I'm not that bad off. I used $3,500 of my savings for the older truck but I'm going to sell it for a loss and just chalk it up to lessons learned. My business has lost money the past 3 years but I can afford to pay my cc bills. It just sucks to be spending what I spend a month on payments, insurance and cc. The business cc payment has always been paid for by my business till this year. I liked not having a vehicle payment after I sold the SS and it gave me a chance to pay my personal cc down faster. I'm not paying it down much now since I'm paying $300+ for the business cc, plus my savings is down. If taxes and my bonus go well again I should be able to pay the truck off and most of the personal cc. I traded in a Jeep on the vette so I should be able to get $3K or $4k off the sale of the vette.
  5. Well after I sold the SS I went 5 months without any truck/car payments before buying the c5z06 in July and the 2000 Silverado in September. For the past month i have been thinking about how nice it was not to have a payment and 3 insurance payments(got a 1996 Silverado also). Now I'm thinking about selling the c5z06 and paying off the 2000 Silverado after tax season if all goes well. I also listed the 1996 ECSB on craigslist and got 4 or 5 people really interested in it. I've got $3,500 into it but selling for $2,500. It has a bad sensor(camshaft or crank) or needs a new timing chain but runs and drives. I've owned 6 different vehicles this year lol. My eBay business hasn't made money in 3+ years so I've got a cc that I'm paying on that goes with my business. I've also got a personal cc I never really use but it has a balance I'm paying off. Basically I'm thining it would be nice to get rid of all my debt besides the house so now is the time to do it. What do you guys think? I love the c5z06 but I'm not attached to any of my vehicles. I think it should sell pretty quick. It's super nice and only has 70k miles on her. I got into a fender bender with the 2000 silverado yesterday but it's fine. Just got a dented passenger side front fender. Not going into details till everything is settled. IMO Not my fault and I saved it from being a lot worse. Needed 4 or 5 inches from being no wreck.
  6. tailgate looks to be from a normal Silerado. Wrong tailgate cap, handle not painted and wrong silverado badge. Possible unreported damaged fixed cheaply
  7. You can mod power wheels also. After I got my girl a barbie jeep I got online and found some stuff to make them fly. Too bad she hasn't used it much. I think I've had to charge the battery once. My buddy's son loves his H2 and drove it all summer. Front wheel boke in half but duct tape is still holding.
  8. GLWS. Times are tough for everybody so if you get close to your asking price you'll be doing great. Just depends on the area you live in I would say.
  9. Don’t know if they would be collectors. The older 454SS don't seem to be worth much. Seen some for sale on eBay and they didn't sell for what the owner wanted. They might be a collector item in 30+ years but I wouldn't hold me breath.
  10. prayers to his family. sorry to hear the sad news. I hope they catch the SOB and accidently run him over
  11. rich grand dad don't care grand son wrecked nice car. they are working on another project. Kid will probably wreck it also. Rich kid won't learn a d#mn thing
  12. probably just trying to get you to buy it by saying someone was going to. common thing sales people do. Before you go back, have a price set in your mind and don't budge. Don't let them talk to you about a payment. That's such a joke. They can really rip you off with that BS.
  13. Sorry to hear about the truck. Hope you get it fixed fast.
  14. I'd have a lot to say to "this friend". I'd probably end up kicking his @ss. People like this are lower than $hit. They have no respect for anything and never will learn the easy way. I'd talk to your budy. He doesn't need friends like that. People make mistakes but doing something like that and not wanting to say anything about it, just shows you the type of person they are. Guy is a loser
  15. That's a long recovery time. How bad did you mess up your arm? That's about the recovery time if I had my shoulder cut on.
  16. your getting a heck of a deal. I bought my 2000 Silverado months ago for 11K and that was cheapest I could find around here with low miles(86K). If this was for sale back then, I would have got it. I've got to have a truck to DD.
  17. bump for a great deal. Won't find a better deal. Brand new paint job. Won't find a better looking 7 year old truck
  18. Sorry to hear. hope you recovery fast man.
  19. Sorry to hear Steve. If I knew what I was going to do with my 2000 silverado, I would have gotten in on this. I bought one set from you in the 1st GP so you know I'd pay. If you offer this GP next year, I'll be checking in on it.
  20. Nah. I'm pretty positive it's some local kids. I live in a subdivision and I've seen them out late during this summer. I'm going to order some security cameras this week and be ready in case they get bord again.
  21. how much would the paint job cost if it wasn't covered by insurance? If this was for sale in Sept. I'd probably bought it off you.
