  1. sorry to hear man. Never let anybody drive your truck. It's better to wreck it yourself than a friend. Plus now you have this accident between you and he needs to be responsible. Your insurance might go after his insurance. I'd make sure you pay nothing out of pocket. He wrecked it(accident or not) so he needs to pay any out of pocket money(deductible or whatever)
  2. Nice price for a great color even if it is a theft recovery. I'd just make sure to have it looked over by a mechanic.
  3. Kim, sorry to hear about your lost. Prayers to you and your family.
  4. super charged ss looks to be this one :SC SS from site If he got $14K on trade in they might sell it for little less than $16K
  5. I've considered getting it myself but I like not having a car/truck payment too much right now. It's just such a steal at $15K. It's got a heavy duty trans and pretty low miles on the LQ4 for the year.
  6. A budy of mine has a super fast 2003 silverado z71 for sale for $15,000. This truck is loaded as far as speed goes and mods. here's his listing on our local board: 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71 80K on the odometer. Less than 20K miles on most of the drive train. Highlights- 6.0L LQ4 Magnacharger MP112 @ 9-PSI 4l80E - PI converter, TCI SFI flexplate Alky control methanol injection Dynatech Headers and true SS dual exhaust with cutouts HSW Dry nitrous system DJM Suspension Drop SSBC Big brake kit and hydro boost conversion Cowl Hood, Roll Pan, Hidden hitch 4.10 gearing swap. Tru Trac in the rear. LOTS MORE! It ran a best of 11.68 @ 114mph. Here's links to pics and specs. He's got a lot of work in this truck and it is fast and the price is super cheap. Build details and pics lots of detailed pics
  7. blue ss were only made in 2003 and 2004 so I think they are less than 2K made so it's ahrd to find one. good luck on your search. I sold mine back in Feb.
  8. here's one on eBay right now. Red and super charged:2004 Red silverado ss supercharged
  9. bump for a good price. I sold my old ones for $600 and they had lots of spots. these look to be in great shape so that price is a steal
  10. check out eBay. i think there is at least one in CA on there last time I checked
  11. a guy I know put the LQ4 in his and many more mods and runs 11.5's I think. LQ4 with a magnacharger is a good combo. If you want a better trans get rid of what you have and go 80. 4l60e is weak at best and needs a lot to hold together with any power behind these heavy @ss trucks.
  12. what about working for a HVAC company? don't they make pretty good money. If not you could work for a HVAC company while starting your own HVAC business
  13. don't do it. I drove my girlfriends parents cars in 1994 & 95(Supra and Celica) and I got both of them up over a 100 mph just for the fun of it. Kids are stupid and I'd never trust any car with a high HP car/truck.
  14. I've also thought of the newer CTS-V but I'm going to wait a couple years and see what they go for used. I'd love a C6 Z06 or newer CTS-V supercharged or maybe even a newer Mustang Cobra(also supercharged). Keep changing my mind so I'm going to wait a bit and save up some cash.
  15. get ready to pay out the @ss for gas. Gas prices are going to be up over $3 all summer even though the price of oil is down. Even though people are not using as much gas as in the past. Funny how supply and demand mean nothing these days. Just the speculation of potential use control the market.
  16. A guy at our local car/truck club has a 2001 Camaro SS for sale. Can somebody do a carfax or autocheck for me? here's the vin# 2g1fp22g212114683 If not no big deal, just checking before I pay for the service myself. Thanks, Jeremy
  17. good ideas and good job on both jobs. Is the spoiler missing the corner pieces?
  18. free bump for you. If it was 2011 and you were closer I'd be thinking hard about it. Still saving cash up for my next toy and a custom SS is a great toy
  19. I don't think we have that station in KY. On a side note, I'm a much happier person since I don't have to run 93 octane anymore. Gas stations around here like to rip you a new one if you use 93.
  20. poor car never had a chance. Some people should take an IQ test before being aloud to buy such a nice car lol
