Nobody was calling BS on the guy, you are just JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS! A late model Lightning like the one I raced is an EASY low 14 second truck. An early model Lightning isn't near as fast. You need to hit the track for a bit to understand why some people think the way they think!

I raced one on the highway a year or so ago in my wife's Magnum R/T. We raced from 60-120+mph many times, he was pulling on me every time and would have actually passed me if there was more road between traffic every time we pounded it. It had Flowmasters on it, I thought it went pretty good at speed to be honest! Nice kill. Aren't they a low 14 stock?

I dunno, my buddy's Hemi Duster street car ran a 7.84 at 175+ mph. Seems pretty quick to ME...? lol

Sounds to me like he's TRYING to emulate the "wide white" crowd and their "old school' hot rod stuff that gets labelled as "rat rods". They sand their paint for a flat finish, like rust on the raised corners for effect etc.....

One of the forums for the 300/Charger/Magnum The only way a stock SRT8 would have a chance against YOUR truck is if it got to go the whole 1/4 mile, in MY opinion anyways.... it would NEED the distance to catch up.

There IS an "SRT8 design" also with SRT seats, but the guys over at LX.com also think it's an SRT8. Pretty impressive kill if you ask me. A 5.7 Hemi car would have had to have some mods for sure to be able to even get into the 13s... let alone a mid 13. What did your buddy say after the run? lol

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is an SRT8 Chrysler 300 and it HAS the "300C" badge. Could very well be....?

I think THAT is a 2009?!? Maybe the guy screwed with his emblems...? LOL I've seen an SS decal on a Dodge Aries, nothing would surprise me! Just check for 20" wheels and Brembos... if it's a 5.7 car it would have to be modded pretty good to keep up to an AWD truck that runs low 13s!?!

Right as the light colored (silver?) mini van has it's driver's side mirror lined up with the 300's wipers, look down at the emblem...? Looks like SRT8 SEATS to me though...??!?! EDIT- The minivan's grill when it just comes to the 300s washer nozzles on the hood, the EMBLEM says HemiC , it's even readable...?

OK, something is funny! LOL It says "300C" right on the front fender in the video?!?!

My buddy has a dead stock 2006 SRT8 that went 12.93 @ 107.75 mph, but that's at Mission Raceways, and our track is near sea level.... he's one of the quickest 300SRT8 times I have heard, most are low 13s.... Cool vid, nice kill!

I've got a "beware" for ya, I hope other guys agree here.... Someone can buy a "4000 rpm stall" and install it, and another guy can get a "4000 rpm stall" and install it, and the two guys might have TOTALLY different opinions... Some stalls are tight, some stalls are loose, some react well with one drivtrain while the exact same converter could go into a different truck with a different drivetrain and give different results... from MY experiences anyways.... If you take an opinion on a certain stall, make sure you apply that opinion to that EXACT converter only, same company and specs etc....

Cool stuff! I think everybody and their brother mistook one of my cars for a Grand National. We went to buy a 1960 Cadillac and the owner HAD a Grand National, he asked me what year MY Grand National was. LOL It was a Cordoba LS... I like the Grand Nationals, and the GNX. Nice cars.
