Most people I know have little knowledge of SyTys, when they came out they weren't well known but they could stomp a lot of "performance" vehicles.... Quick little trucks even dead stock!

Your 60 foot times are already impressive, if you manage a 1.6 60 foot it would turn the stomachs of a few stout musclecar owners..... Yer doing something right, that's for sure.

I don't believe you raced an "SRT4 stage 3". That's all. If you think any guy who hangs out at the track half as much as I do thinks you raced an SRT4 stage 3, more power to ya....

I say if it's a 1/4 mile race, even start and no "giving lengths" bs.... YOU will win by three to five lengths. LOL I don't think it's limited to expensive cars to be honest, I know quite a few guys who own cars who get angry if I just SUGGEST they race a truck. I had a ClubCab Dodge with a 440 that people were insulted when I suggested they line up with their cars, and I know quite a few guys who WILL NOT race a newer truck, doesn't matter what kind of truck it is. Skeered I guess?!?!

Maybe the driver?? I ran a BMW 335i on the highway last year on my way home from the track, two guys pulled up beside me and when traffic cleared we both rolled at the speed limit then he pounded it and I went with him. We ran hard to 120+ mph a few times. I pulled very slowly on him each time. A BMW 335i should be pulling on ME. He had two people in the car but they were both small, and I'm 220+, so I don't think it was the weight difference... not sure what was wrong with him, maybe a little pedal nervous, or...? He SHOULD have beat me though, by a few lengths... not sure what happened.

Is you car STOCK, or "pretty well stock"... I would guess you are mid to low 14s, it depends what your buddy's truck runs. The filter won't do much, the "chip" might! Depends what he has.... it shouldn't be a spanking either way unless someone is bending the truth...

Race a stage 3 SRT4 on the freeway from a roll. It will truly ASTOUND you. No need to worry about turbo lag starting at 70mph in an SRT4 stage 3 or not unless you are in 5th gear, and even then I'm not sure it would matter. Like I said, hit a few sites, google "stage 3 SRT4", and I think unless you are in a 12 second vehicle you will be in trouble FAST. Watch a couple roll on videos on Youtube. I'm not a 4 banger fan in any way shape or form, but I watched a stock SRT4 run a 13.9 at our track, we went to the guy's pit and asked him what was done to his Neon. He told us it was a stock SRT4, and to be honest we thought he was lying at first. A stage 3 SRT4 is a whole different animal.... That was a Neon with decals, or something was much more wrong than JUST "wrong.... Here is a Stage 3 SRT4 against a TEN SECOND BIKE video, roll on from 60mph until 155 mph.... Here is a Mustang with a blower against a Stage 3 SRT4 The Mustang has SIXTEEN pounds of boost!!!!!!! And finally, at the track with a C6 Corvette against a Stage 3 SRT4. The Corvette owner posted the video, I'm pretty sure he was surprised!

I'm pretty sure a CL55 AMG is a mid to high 12 second car, is it not? I think they are neck and neck with a lot of Z06 Corvettes at the track... they are NOT slouches....

I sure assumed he meant a car, the car AND truck are both SRT10s are they not...? If it's a TRUCK then have at it! The wheelspin in a TRUCK SRT10 is a different story...

Most are solid 12 second cars. A stage 3 SRT4 is quicker than it has a right to be IMO, and I'm a MoPar guy... Unless it was a decalled out Neon I can't understand it with your mods, that's for sure!

Finally! I absolutely HATE the sound of Subeys, they remind me of big bore Bugs, but Bugs that sound bad! lol Good kill! I love trucks beating unsuspecting imports!

NOT MUCH TO BRAG ABOUT?!?! Stage 3 SRT4s are 12 second cars. I would say that's something worth bragging about!!!!! What am I missing here guys?

I'm not a Ford guy, but Mustangs are cheap bang for the buck and decent looking cars. I like them!
