Damn Dylan.. sucks to hear about your tranny bro, I guess I can say I can relate Good thing they gave you a brand new tranny, and didnt have one of their dumbass techs rebuild it like mine.. 2 attempted tranny rebuilds... lasting a total of 300 miles! lol. Hopefully you just had some factory defects.... As far as where I got the Radix installed... I ended up going to JPA Performance in Chatsworth up in LA. I dont want to tell a price.. but I called plenty of people and did my homework.. and they installed it for pretty much HALF the price as anyone else.. and they even pinned my crank and tuned it. Plus the guy who installed it used to work for Magnacharger... and is a really cool guy. Professional service and great work. HIGHLY recommended.

Now that I have my supercharger installed.. I need some gauges. I am going to with an Autometer phantom boost and Aeroforce interceptor scangauge (anyone have one for sale? ). My question is... which dual a-pillar gauge pods are the most popular here? I have a tweeter in the a-pillar so I need something that will work with that... so if anyone has any suggestions and places to get some good prices I would appreciate it!! Maybe even some pics Thanks.

It should be a good run if you dont have your cam in it I just need to get this crappy flowmasters off the truck now... the 2 chambers in these mufflers cant help the increased exhaust coming out now... and the Radix made my exhaust loud as hell and they sound like crap now. I think I am going to go for the Magnaflow 12599 since it is straight thru with the xpipe. Plus I need some long tubes!!! Anyone wanna buy some JBA shorties ???

I was in the LA area today picking up my truck from the shop who did my Radix install. 2 miles (!) down the street (keep in mind, I hadnt even went WOT yet with the Radix) I hit a light. Whaddya know? A red 99-04 Red convertible Corvette pulls up next to me with a Joe-Cool looking guy in the drivers seat. I dropped it in neutral and gave him a rev to hear the blower whine He revs HARD on me. That thing had the craziest exhaust I have heard in a long time... it was loud as hell! The light turned green and he got a slight jump on me as he chirped his tires, I punched it... and immedietly caught him and pulled about to where his front bumper was at the bed of my truck. We kept going until about 90 or so when I let off, but he wasnt able to get passed me so I let off. You should have seen this guys face! He kept looking over like WTF how is this guy keeping up with me?!? He took the next right and did a massive burnout around the corner and took off... lol. Next race was my buddies 2001 Corvette with Ram-air intake and GHL exhaust and a Z06 clutch. He has been wanting to race my truck for a while.. so what a better time than when I have the Radix on! We ran 4 times... each from dead stops. Each time the same exact results. I would wait until I saw him launch, then I would launch it and pull 1.5-2 cars on him... and kept that distance until about 75 when he would start INCHING up to me.. at 100 he hadnt even caught up yet and thats where we stopped. At 100, he was still about 1 car back! VERY impressed with the Radix this far. Cant wait to get the GT2-3 cam....

Yeah, you could reset it.. but thats why i took the pic after 55 mi to be fair But... Revolution got 26mpg.. what the hell.. how does that happen.. thats pretty damn good! I havent seen any Chevy fullsize anything get anything over 23mpg.. so congrats. I just wonder how my gas mileage is going to be after the Radix.. probably 2mpg for the first couple of days while i "break it in"

I dropped my truck off today to have the Radix installed. Filled it up to the top, reset the tripometer, and right before I got to the place took this pic. 19.5mpg.... can anyone top this?

Damn, 15.5? I hope that intake isnt responsible for your truck running so slow compared to a stock SS.. I ran a 15.79 in my 2000 Silverado 5.3 with a 9" lift and 35" tires! Had intake/exhaust/hypertech ... so that time seems off?

Yeah, when I talked to him (forgot his name) I asked him if it would fit a truck with a 143" wheelbase.. he said no problem its adjustable and will fit... he said its the top of the line Mustang dyno. He could have been mistaken, but he said it would be no problem Maybe they upgraded it or got a new one since you called? Who knows... the guy could be smokin crack ... jk

If anyone wants to dyno their AWD SS in the Socal area... there is a place in Van Nuys (in Los Angeles for those who dont know) called Strictly Performance motorsports. They have a Mustang AWD dyno that has a wide enough wheelbase for an AWD truck... and they have a wideband and shit for custom tuning. They charge something like $125 an hour. I just received mine today. I bought them straight from Magnuson. Call 805-289-0044 and ask for Randy in sales. He will set you up with them.. they are less then $30 I think.

Just wondering if its my truck, or if its a common issue.. but when the tranny is cold, it shifts REAL hard.. but when it warms up, its perfect.. nice and firm, but not too hard. Keep in mind this is with a shift kit and servo. Thanks

I dont know man... but theres no way a mid-high 13 second car could stop pulling you at 100. That thing should have kicked your ass all the way from 50mph on. I bet he just let off and started cruising at 100... theres no way he was trying. An '06 GT kicked my wifes 350z's ass HARD from a 50mph roll....

haha yah... but when they hit 3rd.. they are gone. I raced my brothers Z28, and he cant launch for shit. Got him by 2-3 cars off the line, and then he just blew by me like i was standing still. The higher stall is so much nicer off the line... it should come with one from the factory.... ...and a supercharger

I dont know if it matters to you... but the Yank tt2600 and the TB converter are pretty much identical. I had both, and they stall the same .. and even look the same. My tranny guy said they are the same things... just an FYI if you want to save the cash and just use the TB.
