  1. Toy Shop already built it up after I basically thrashed the tranny a few month ago...Corvette Servos, new accum, blah blah blah...All I know is it was a pretty penny then again i caused ALOT of damage for having CAI and a PCM tune Im thinking in this order I am going to go with the mods 1) New Intake since the K&N 77 Series wont fit (will be in the 4 Sale section soon) 2) New Plugs 3) 160 Stat 4) TB/J-Tube conversion 5) LPE Cam 6) Torque Converter in the 2600-2800 range 7) 2.9 or 2.8 puller with new Injectors 8) Run True Duals with High flow Cats and E-Cutouts to compensate for CA liberal and not allowing LTs(Global Warming is a hoax created by the same guy that thinks he invented the internet) looks like 1-4 will be done in about 4 months after I pay off the radix, if this new client comes through, and 5-8 will be closer to end of this year... With tunes by Brian after each install...Looking forward to joining that small group of you in the 12's by next year... Once again a HUGE thanks to Punkt71, great guy with a great offer...I will post some results of the tune and all probably over the next weekend after I get the truck back...is there still no AWD Dyno within a 2 hour drive from Orange County?
  2. Well looks like Brian (MoreGrip) is going to do the install and tune for me on the suggestion of Kris, and well Brian is more than knowledgeable about Magnacharger and our trucks. Looks like we will be getting this done a week from today, which means I will get the truck back on Saturday afternoon the 30th. Brian is giving me a great deal for the install and tune. After talking with him, it looks like I am going to go with the J-tube/TB upgrade and then probably the LPE cam and TC. With all this happenning more towards the end of the year. I dont think Ive been this excited for Saturday the 30th to come since i was a little kid waiting for Christmas day. Looks like I may not be ashamed of going down to one of the SoCal meet ups (that never occur) with a stock truck. This is when I wish back to the future wasnt just a movie starring Michael J. Fox BTW Kris (Punkt71) is selling his truck to go the more professional route since he has his new business. He said the lowered truck doesnt look good to clients in his mind so it looks like he is taking a long look at the BMW 538i so he can tow clients around and still keep his need for speed.
  3. Cluster issue, had mine upside down for a good 2-3 weeks with no change, my dealer was good enough to replace it even though I was 2,500 over my mileage on the warranty. Call your dealer and see what they can do
  4. It seems like this guy gets into internet fights all the time. Someone posted one worse than this one, where he actually did rip someone off and the guy was obviously pissed being out 40K on his Viper. This reminds me of the Jon and Mr. McGoofy getting into it, and McGoofy acting like a 4 year old child because he was losing money on his crappy suspension design.
  5. The only issue I have with the headers are that I would want to go Long Tubes, but those are not CA Legal, and I dont know the people Adam and Chase know when it comes to smog time sometime next year. Since TOGs are no longer around, and Chase mentioned that he had fitting issues with them, kinda worries me. Going the with shorty headers just seems like a waste of money over the stockers. The Fluidyne intercooler looks interesting, and I may go that route probably asking Dcairns for some help with the install if I go that route. After talking to a few people about the Meth/water and the issues with the radix rotors + meth I dont think I will go that route especially if I went with a top of the line kit like Chase mentioned. Looks like a good blower cam or intercooler will be the next step as of right now. Just researching the gains and proper size for radix cams as of right now since this is a daily driver.
  6. Thanks for the advice guys. With the 3.0 pulley am I going to need to go with larger injectors? Punkt71 is going to include a Aeroforce scan gauge and Autometer fuel gauge so I think Im good there...Headers are a must have, so I think I need to do some homework ASAP... Any other suggestions?
  7. I like the black ones. The chrome ones look good on intimidator's black truck, tough choice
  8. In his most recent email I got today he said he was selling the truck, and since I expressed interest in an earlier topic of his, he was letting me have first dibs. I know he was thinking about going bigger with the engine, but it looks like he might be selling it. Im sure he will chime in some time soon.
  9. Hey guys, So Punkt71 has finally decided to sell his radix and its looks like Im going to be the lucky guy who ends up with his setup. I would like to know from the guys running the Radix currently of some goodies, that would be good to get to make sure im not going to blow my engine anytime soon after the install. As of right now the truck is basically stock minus a tune from PCMforLess (this will be re-tuned by the installer), and a Magnaflow exhaust. I have also had the trans beefed up by the ToyShop. Punkt71 is giving me the entire setup including heat exchanger and a 3.0 pulley. I know I will need atleast a boost/fuelpressure guage, and a new tune. Right now still split on new headers, I know it will free up some HP, but is it that drastic (HP/TQ wise) over the stock headers? Id be happy with mid to low 13s if not better, I dont have the cash tree that Chase grows but id be happy with low 13's for right now... Just want to be on the overly safe side, and want to do it right the first time. Maybe a list of most important things to least important would be helpful. Thanks for all the advice in advance...
  10. GS just went up 3-1...Im sure you Dallas fans are bitting your nails or just drinking massive amounts of alcohol while watching Dirk barely score 12-15 points a game... Dirk is definitely hurting his chances at MVP this season Watching the game tonight on TNT was hilarious watching Sir Charles get bagged on all night
  11. Here is my list of top flavors from Skoal. I dont like Vanilla too much, but Berry Blend is a top favorite. Normally I switch off between flavors every 1-2 days depending on how quickly I go through a can. Regular and Wintergreen are just plain horrible...But to each their own... 1. Mint 2. Berry Blend 3. Cherry 4. Peach 5. Citrus 6. Apple 7. Vanilla 8. Regular 9. Wintergreen
  12. I love the kid getting run over by his car...Dumb kids

  15. Angels and Braves are my two teams...Favorite Player? Probably Chipper or Vlad

  24. Buried the snake? I would have sliced that thing to pieces and then posted pieces of dead snake around my yard to show the other stupid snakes what would happen if another one decided to come play in my yard...I hate F*in snakes!!!
  25. Sorry for your loss man! Here is a road test I just read about the new 5.7 Tundra vs the 6.2 Sieraa Denali. The Denali comes with 3.33 gears that they were using and saw consistent 14.8 1/4 and 6.2 0-60s with 20" wheels. Which was slightly better than the Tundra with 4.10s and 18" wheels in the 1/4 by .2 seconds and a 2004 AWD SS by .3 in the 1/4. I think with the transmission (6L80E) in the Denali youd have a better building block then the current trannys in the SS. http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/2007/gmc/s...test/page1.html If I had the money and needed a new truck Id go the route of the Denali, then again you can find a used SS for about 1/2 the cost and approximately the same performance. Plus I still think the SS is the best looking truck you can buy.
