Neil 6.0
The info I have shows that Chevy will have the exact same thing available. I even seen the picture of it.
jwest1975
The info I have shows that Chevy will have the exact same thing available.I even seen the picture of it. I agree. It looks as though Chevy will have a version of this truck. This is some info that I found that goes along with the Silverado 1500: "Mechanical section-(B4V) Silverado Performance Package, changed "Only available to order by dealerships in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana." to read "Requires delivery to residents of TX/OK/LA and select counties in New Mexico, Kansas and Arkansas." in the footnote text. " and some more info conneected to code B2E: "NEW! Limited Appearance Package, includes Exterior color (39U) Indigo Blue, (Z60) Suspension Package, High-Performance, (QR9) Wheels, 4-20" x 8.5" cast aluminum, chromed, 5-spoke, (QSS) Tires, P275/55R20, touring, blackwall, and (ZGC) Tire, spare, P265/75R16, blackwall and 16" Wheel, spare, steel" Now lets see some pictures! SS4EVER
So what happened to the 345hp 6.0, or is there going to be two versions? There is two versions, the texas truck with the 345 HP and the Spring Special with the 5.3L.

SS4EVER
I walked past about 20 of them Texas Trucks last night and I must say I like the Chevrolet Silverado moreso, especially in that Carbon Metalic paint....sweet. They will be sleepers. If I was to re-paint my Monte Carlo SS that would be the color.

phatpat92
Go to www.kbb.com. You can build one out. on GMC's site, you can option out a half ton Sierra with 20" wheels and the LQ9 motor (though the pricing doesn't make any sense...) --- a sign of things to come? any word on whether or not this motor will be available in GMC or Chevy? or both? this whole idea of putting the 345 hp motor in a regular 4x2 sounds appealing to me, i like the idea of having chrome bumpers on a pickup, and you can't do that with the SS ...though if that's all there is when i'm looking to buy in a few months, so be it - i'll still welcome the SS to my driveway
