  1. What should we send them? A pair of glasses?
  2. I've been washing mine twice a week this winter to try and keep the same thing from happening to mine. It's a pain in the butt, but worth it.
  3. You mean the tailgate cap/spoiler? That will likely need to come off. It is just held on with 2-sided tape, so it's not too big a deal to remove it.
  4. Good Lord. I tried reading that ad and got a headache. Pretty sure my IQ went down a few points too....
  5. The extended cab 1500's only have the 6.5' or 8' beds in 03. As long as it doesn't have the 8' bed, it should fit fine.
  6. Nice kill. Raptors are fun because the owners, more times than not, think they have a 4 wheel drive Lightning. They're decent for what they are, but that isnt a race truck.
  7. Yeah. I'll be lucky if I see a dime. Lol.
  8. Snow is cool when you don't have to deal with morons who don't know how to drive in it.
  9. You'll have to post some pics of that badboy up when it's done
  10. I've heard of people using the ls6 springs with the XR275HR in their trucks, but I don't know if I would chance it in a boosted app. I have a set of Comp 918's that I'm planning on putting up for sale soon. They have about 15K miles. Feel free to let me know if you might be interested.
  11. Another great transaction with Alan. It's always a pleasure doing business with you man!
  12. Welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about your brother. I'm sure he would be happy to know you ended up with his truck. Thank you for your service.
  13. I'd love to make it out this year. It's going to be a pretty busy summer though, so who knows...
  14. The upgrades in the 4l70e aren't a whole lot. The difference is an extra clutch added to the overdrive unit, some hydraulic revisions and a better planetary setup. The 70e also had an input speed sensor. It will bolt right up in place of the 60e/65e because they all share the same case. I'm thinking I saw somewhere where where the 4l70e actually still had 4l60E stamped on them. Personally, if the trans you have is rebuildable, and you know a transmission guy, I'd just rebuild the one you have with the upgraded parts, and you'll probably have as good, or better of a setup than buying a new 4l70e. That may or may not be more cost effective too depending on how much you would be paying for the 4l70e is going to be. Hopefully that sort of answers your question.
  15. Lol. That wouldn't be so funny if it weren't completely true.
  16. I agree. I kinda thought it was high for the miles, but after looking at the pics it does look like it's in excellent condition. If you can get him down to 13.5, hell yeah. Maybe offer it, and walk away if he doesn't bite. Tell him to call you if he changes his mind. After a day or two of thinking about it, I bet he will come down, at least some.
  17. I may have one. Let me know if you're interested and I'll check on it.
