  1. Thanks for the reinforcement guys. Between the misinformation about AMSOIL being an MLM bs company (Amway, etc.), and the preconceived notion some people have that the products are going to cost a lot more than other quality fluids, sometimes it's a hard sell. It always helps when people share their positive experiences with the products.:-)
  2. Quick shoutout to Eric (03_Ss_22). He bought one of my EA air filters to replace his K&N. Communication was great and he paid right away. Thanks a lot man. I hope you enjoy it!
  3. Welcome to the site. That wasn't terribly overpriced. I'd say high side of average retail here. You wont regret it though because these are great trucks.
  4. It sets about 1 inch lower up front and two inches in the back. If you.could find something that lowers it those amounts it would get you close I believe z60 is the actual suspension package, which is the same as other Silverado's with the 20" wheel and tire package.
  5. I'd do them in that order. Nice exhaust system first. I wouldn't worry about a retune at that point (wouldn't hurt anything though). Next, the headers. You'll want to have it retuned after that, then tuned again after the cam. As far as what to get... for the exhaust, just listen to some video clips and decide what you like best. For the headers, definitely go longtube. Cam. Again, that's all about preference. Just remember sometimes less is more with camshafts. I'd say call a few companies and let them know your specific goals and have a custom grind made. If you just want an off the shelf cam, they could point you in the right direction with that too. Good luck with everything!
  6. I know winter grade gas is killing my mileage right now. Could be one or more of a bunch of things though. Could be driving factors, such as more stop and go traffic or you running it harder. Could be mechanical too. I wouldnt assume the computer tune is changing unless it has been tuned or something else has been changed. More likely an o2 sensor or cat would be a mechanical issue I'd look at. I'd also make sure everything has fresh grease. Kind of hard to tell from this end since it could be so many different things.
  7. Welcome from the other end of the state. I'm up in Clarksburg
  8. Congrats on the nice find. Should have no problems hauling a 6x10 with a couple atv's. I haul around a heavy frickin car trailer with a trans am on it pretty regularly and have never had an issue.
  9. Welcome. Awesome you found one over there.
  10. The filter media is actually made of nanofiber, same as the Donaldson Endurance filters (Donaldson is a sister company of AMSOIL btw) You can clean it with a vacuum or by blowing it with low-pressure air.
  11. Sounds like you made out like a bandit.
  12. Totally understandable man. I held on to my SSS when we had our little girl, but I had AWD. The extended cab wasn't too much of an issue, but ya have to have something that's going to be safe all year. If I would have had the 2wd, I would have done the same thing. Best of luck.
  13. That stinks. I've never been a big fan of the green stuff...lol.
  14. The blue would look sweet on my truck. It would be awesome if you could change the ugly green readout on the dash, radio and heater controls over to blue too.
  15. Damn. Wish I was ready to buy one right now. GLWTS
  16. I actually think it looks better on the truck than it did the cars. Lol.
  17. Here is another one of what the head looks like.
  18. Here is what I have on my FIPK. http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/filters-and-by-pass-systems/air/amsoil-ea-universal-air-induction-filters/?code=EAAU6065 Here is a pic of the actual filter on my truck.
  19. Thanks Casey. I put mine on this weekend. Sounds mean. I appreciate it bud!
