  1. Sent you a PM TXBLKSS
  2. Sorry to hear about the truck not fitting man. The storage unit may be the best bet for now. Maybe you could eventually add-on to the garage, so it fits down the road.
  3. I'm not gonna bash the Royal Purple either. Some AMSOIL users do. The RP is a good quality oil. With my personal experience, it was comparable to the M1, which is also a good oil. Everyone has their preferences though.
  4. Another AMSOIL dealer here. I used to be a M1 only person, until I was turned on to the AMSOIL by some of my racing buddies. I switched in my Trans Am first and the difference was night and day. I tried out RP for a while too, but wasn't impressed with it for the price. Since I switched to AMSOIL in the SSS, I've gained about 2mpg over both the M1 and the RP. I usually use the top of the line Signature Series in the T/A and change it every 3k miles. That's probably overkill though, as it is good for 12 months or 25k miles. I'm currently testing the full interval for the Signature Series in my wife's Civic and am confident it will be fine for the duration. I use the XL in the SSS, which is good for 6 months or 10k miles. I've done the full 6 months one time so far and the oil came out looking prettywell new. As far as the OE, I may switch to it after I'm done doing my own personal testing, because I usually service my stuff every 3k anyway. It's a top quality oil too. One of my customers, who uses it in his Ram 1500 said he gained 3mpg after switching from M1. So far (knock on wood), I've never had one complaint about any their products and all the feedback I get from my people is positive.
  5. That sucks. Back when I did mine, there wasn't much slack, but there was enough to where I didn't need to take the steering wheel apart. Hope everything works out for you.

  9. This is definitely sad. I'd jump on it in a second if I could.
  10. Wow, that's pretty rough. My worst one was for a street race in PA back in my dumber days. I got it reduced to just speeding, and it only cost a few hundred bucks.
  11. I'm one of the buddies, lol. Hopefully I'll have the Trans Am ready by then.
  12. I use AMSOIL in both the T/A, and the SSS, along with my wife's Civic. I'm a T-1 Certified Independent Dealer, so I can get it cheap too!!
  13. This thread kind of makes me sick, lol. If I didn't have a 1 year old and a wife that have prettywell eaten the play fund, I'd definitely jump.
  14. I would have to think they would. I haven't had the cluster out for a while, so I'm not sure if they are the same size.
  15. I dunno about his setup, but mine is not exactly tuned. With mine, we just ran diagnostics so I would have a stock base file for comparison once I start to modify things. Then we changed the shift modes to a performance setting and moved the speed limiter to 200+. We were basically just playing with the truck and HP Tuners to make the 250 mile trip go quicker.
  16. It's ok....It was in Mexico Thanks. It was a gas one. Yeah, you could tell by his face that what ended up happening was not what he intended to show off to his lady friend setting shotgun. She was all smiles about the whole ordeal. The highways are mostly all 4-lane, but a there are a few places around where it spans off into 3 on each side here. The traffic isn't usually bad at all unless there is a ball game, so at times, it's just you or you and one other person for quite a distance. It is certainly tempting at times.
  17. I have an AVS Bug Shield that was removed from my SS the day I brought it home. It's been setting in the basement collecting dust since then. Same for the plate bracket. Here they were on the truck $30 + shipping for the bug guard $20 + shipping for the plate bracket.
  18. I was on the way to PA with a friend to pick up some toys for his T/A when a new VW Jetta did a fly-by. We had been playing around that morning with the HP Tuners and he had just changed some performance settings and killed my limiter, so I figured I'd take the opportunity to see how much it helped. When I caught up to the VW he switched lanes and then took off on me just when I pulled even with his bumper. I then stomped and pulled pretty hard on him. By the time my speedo topped 120 I had about a bus on him. We never had the HP Tuner hooked up when I was running, so I dont know exactly how fast it got up to. It seemed like it pulled alot more after pegging past the 120 mark though. Oh well. Thank goodness for 6 lane roads with no traffic. Good times.
  19. Kanye is a tool. Straight up tool.
  20. Awesome man. I have a 65 Malibu SS rusting away in the back yard. I've tried to buy it off my dad 100 times, but he won't sell it.....
  21. I think it was a bad use.... She should take them all off right now and post another pic.
