i bought these back in march off a member on PT.NET and never installed them. his ad --> http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/gm-parts-classifieds-23/torsion-bar-guys-qa1-king-coilover-conversion-514873/ they have been sitting in my garage ever since .i did make brackets to adapt them to a 4wd set up but it seems you will need to modify shock tower to make more room but will bolt straight up to a 2wd set up according to previous owner. i need money to build a motor other wise i would still like to make them work so they need to go they are in the same condition as in his ad .. i will take a loss on these and do $400 shipped

i got two sets of 317 heads completely stock, one off my truck and one off a lq4 asking $225 shipped for each pair complete. heads off my truck... off the lq4... next i got a lq4 that i got off of craigslist. i opened it all up to make sure nothing was broke, everything appears to be fine and spins freely .i was told it had 110k on it. would make a good core or buy some new gaskets and bolt it up. i was going to put it in my truck but i decided to go 408... $500 + shipping will need to be put on a pallet and shipped . you can find your own shipping or i know that it cost about $200 to ship out of local truck yard ive done it 2x now. if you want a set of heads with it let me know and we can work something out.

You know I'm not sure but with boost not sure its going to make a big difference either way since its being forced into the runners.

well little update , got the motor apart and found a cracked piston ... out of cylinder #4 and two bent rods .. #4 on top #2 on bottom good thing is block appears to be good and will more then likely be the donor block for the 408, it would be sweet to know its the original block from day 1 still powering it . so off to bigger and better things. so the plan now is to build a 408 with ported lsa heads and a holley hi ram intake with a turbo cam . i did acquirer a lq4 in the process that i was going to put in the truck that i opened up to take a look and seems to be good so i might be selling that here soon would make a good builder or bolt it together and see if it runs , not sure i got it off craigslist . i will be selling my other stuff that i em replacing .

i think your going to be disappointed and wish you would have went the boosted route.

What heater did you go with ? I was looking Into one of these for my truck for the winter because of e85 doesn't like to start when cold out.
