  1. My buddys is reg cab with an auto. I think its an 04-05
  2. U-Jount, Even if there new dosen't mean they can't fail prematurely.
  3. I installed my Power Stop brake and rotor kit this weekend and holy crap did it make a difference! Not only that the sexy factor went up a couple notches too! Gimme a few and I'll attach some pics
  4. Ok I found a 4L80 for $200 from a friend of mine. The way I see it is I can take my time gathering parts to build it and gather the parts for doing a swap. My truck has over 100k on it and I'd rather over do it then wonder how I'm gonna get home. I do on occasion beat the snot out of my truck as well as some moderate towing. I Need some Input without all of the complaining and arguing on the last thread I read. I am pretty happy with most of the mods I already have and plan on adding a cam package, and throttle body for now. I apprciate the input in advance. How can I tell when the trans was produced as it its origin is unknown.
  5. I know how to remove the seat and mod the seat I was more curious as to what people used behind the seat because its just insulation not carpet
  6. What I was attempting to explain it that I am back to near stock boost. 5-7 lbs and a cam package is a little expensive at the moment. I have other projects I need to finish.
  7. lol I can't get Images at work. All of the pics posted everywhere are little boxes with red x's. And I only screw off when I'm at work lol. Gotta love Gov't computers and regulations. If you could please Type the SN and I will send it to myself before I call em Thanks
  8. I have had nothing but Issues with all of the OEM balancers I have used. I need a stronger balancer then OEM and figured I would go to underdrive because it seems more robust. I also took into consideration that I could pulley down to offset the 25% underdrive. ProCharger reccomended through their math to go to a 3.4 would be back to stock boost of 5.5
  9. Can I get the Serial Number and I will call Pro Charger to confirm anything?
  10. For those of you who have done the mod and mounted something behind the seat, how did you do it? I have an amp and a cap I would want to mount there but I am not willing to drill through the back of the cab. Are there any OEM carpet kits for them? If so anf PN's? Last of all any pics ? Thanks for all of the help in advance!
  11. I want to get a few more things done and the Tune nailed down before I do! I have 2 guys who drive HD edition F150's that are talking alot of SH!T and Wanna do some grudge racing.
  12. IIRC through summit it was around $380 for 4 crossdrilled and slotted Rotors and the Power Stop Eveloution pads
  13. I have an underdrive balancer and am only now barely spinning above the stock 4" RPM's
  14. I am about 5-6 lbs of boost. I have not had any issues rinning the 3.2" pulley. I have sand blasted the pulley before I installed it. I'm even looking at the 3.0" if everything goes well. Not sure of the DA. its 15ft above sea level, air temp always changes maybe average of 83? Humidity is always high as well unless there is a front coming through.
  15. My mods are now in my sig line and was wondering what you think I should run at the track in NC. Coastal Plains RWP. I was thinking mid to low 13's? What do you guys think?
  16. I finally Pulleyed down today to offset the underdrive balancer I bought from Summit. I am using a 3.2" pulley and my truck now takes a 109" 6 rib belt. After getting the belt issues taken care of I preformed an oil change on the Procharger too. On a couple test beatings I hit 7lbs versus the previous 5-5.5. The Wide band was even still rich. I plan on haveing another tune done really soon but I have a butt load of parts to put on so I don't have to keep wasting money everytime I add something. A cool trick to not having your belt squeek when you pulley down is to abrasive blast the ribs of the pulley.
  17. I Ordered both servo's , Trans Go-HD2 shift kit and an SLP 160 T-Stat yesterday. Friday I'm going to pick up a new walboro 340, 255gph Fuel pump. I'll post some more Pics when either stuff comes in or I actually get some work done.
  18. That all depends on who is building/ installing all of the goodies, labor will eat up money quick........
