  1. It was fun! I can't wait to finish my stage 2 build lol!
  2. as many times as I've beat my truck, it does the 2-3 shift around 70mph. 2nd gear is stronger then 3rd. So i figured from a 50 roll wasn't bad at all.
  3. Last friday I was was going home from work. I stopped at the gas station and was deciding which route i wanted to take home, when a red Audi 2 door pulls up to the light, I decided i would persue him for some fun. We pull out onto the HWY and start from a 55 roll. I pulled 2 cars on him starting in 3rd gear and kept going to about 110 mph and I let off. @ 110 I probably had 4 cars. I went to the next gas station to see if he wanted to talk and he gave me the courtsey head light flash and left..... This saturday I was leaving my parents house at 11pm. My wife pulls out first and I waited for a veh to pass before I pulled out on to the street. when the veh went past me I noticed it was an HD F-150. We met out on the HWY once again from a 55 roll. This time i pulled it down to 2nd and ran. I Immediately pulled a car and a half and kept pulling away. He then pulled behind me as I slowed down. I waited for him to pull up again but I guess he had enough. I continued to the ATM in town. When I got back into the truck from using the ATM I had a missed call. My buddy owns a HD F-150 and aparently it was him(Zack) and his truck that I raced. Zack called me to tell me he won't be talking anymore smack and that "I had him covered," and not to sweat another guy (Scott) who ownes another HD F-150 and has been talking smack. Zack's truck is aparently the faster of the 2 and he had nothing for me. Soooooo moral of the stories: I spanked a tuned AUDI 2dr and an HD F-150 both from 55 rolls! I can't wait to actually start from a dig!
  4. I did get "spanked" like that too lmfao! Joke. Yea guys I don't ever go out and think I'm gonna out run everyone. I know what my goals are and that's all I'm shooting for. But it did make me feel alot better finding out it make's that much power because I think I'd give a stock one a run for it's money.
  5. It was a very short race from about a 50mph roll down the HWY. We both got into it to about 90-100 and he pulled away. I had nothing for him. After talking to a friend of mine who's a mustang guy, he enlightened me as to all the stuff done. BTW I raced an 04 Terminator, that aparently makes over 600rwhp!!!! Yea so I don't feel bad at all getting spanked by a car that make 150 hp more and weighs probably 1500-1800 lbs less!!!!! I would have loved to race him from a dig just so I could of atleast hole shot him but I had to turn around and go where I was really headed anyways.
  6. I did the 3/4 DJM kit. Rides fine but my CV's are smoked now. Looks bad a$$ though.
  7. Don't do the diode crap, i always prefer using relays and inline fuses. go to summit.com or jegs.com and pay the $50 for the painless kit. it takes like 10-20 min to install. I've had mine done for over a year without a single issue.
  8. It's a cool idea and if you have the time and money and patientce to do it then by all means. The main issue I thought about is you are going to take a turbo (which has high egt's ) and have it force feed hot air into an already known heat sync sitting on top of the engine. Then to factor in all of the additional plumbing needed for the turbo and back to the intercooler . I am assuming that I will have to be a Mid mount setup as well. IMO i would go one way or the other, but if you're set on it i would think about doing a D1 or F1 supercharger and lose the heat sync............ just my .02

  11. yea but still tossing around how far I want to go with my truck. Maybe clean up the plumbing for the SC and add more hard pipe to it for a better MAF calibration. but I am thinking about puting a 3.5in pulley on and run around 9-10 lbs and call it good. I will be happy with over 500 to the wheels. Once I get there I really wanna do the Z06 brake conversion, allong with slam bags and Hydro boost. I forgot to mention that the D/S front main spring eye bolt was loose and now my CV's are popping since I lowered it.
  12. Not as much as I wanted to, my brother-in-law brought me his 91 CRX and I hac to do a clutch, flywheel, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and the dizzy o-ring. I did fix my fuel pump issue which was the hose from the pump to the top of the sending unit burst. so I kept the walbobo and just replaced the hose. I also Installed the caspers hot wire harness. and I disassembled the front to figure out id the d-max intercooler will work or not. The answer is , maybe but not worth the extra time and money for the parts.
  13. What width tires are you running? Whens the last time you had an allignment?
  14. So they only work on the returnless style fuel systems? Do you have to run the tall injectors? Or will the stock short style fit?

  17. How did you bleed the brakes? I am refering to the sequence. You are suppose to start from the wheel cyl, farthest from the master cyl. which would be the rt rear then the left rear, then move onto the right front and then the left front. I also know that the ABS system will act funny if the brakes are not bled properly. In some cases the ABS pump will have to be bled buy a shop or the stealership. One final thing to improve the performance of your brakes and the feel is to properly seat the pads.

This weekend I plan to : Swap balancers from my Summit Underdrive to the OEM size Fluidampner didn't do Pulley back up to a 4" on the Procharger didn't do Install the AEM 340lph and Casper hotwire kit fuel pump was fine, hose blew and Installed the harness Make a serious attempt to install the D-Max intercooler too much time and money to even think about fitting so scratch this Double check my suspension from lowering it found main eye bolt loose Service front and rear differentials with Royal Purple nope Change oil on Pro charger nope Fix the clip on my pillar pod nope Hopefully I should be able to get all of this accomplished. If I do all of the pics and stuff will be posted and attached to my build thread on here. I am hoping to have my truck running like a champ around thanksgiving so I can get a tune nailed down on it and find somewhere to make some passes with it before x-mas
  19. Could be a trans mount, or a bad u-joint. Both can be checked by hand and or visually.
  20. I can't wait! Seriously! My buddy has a joe Gibbs truck and wants to run me as we'll as 2 other guys I know who own f150 HD's who wanna run too! But I gotta get my truck straight before I beat the snot outa it at the track
