I used to have a jeep commander. When i bought it it had some falken ziex tires. I hated them from day one but didnt want to replace them untill they were worn. I replaced them with zeon ltzs and wow, they were amazing tires. They were so comfortable, they were quiet, and they had Awesome road grip. They are hybrid performance tires. I couldnt believe how much better the handling was. They set me back 1200$ with the insurance but they were well worth it.

You know, i bet you could get a really decent price on having it painted. I definitely think it can be done with rattle cans, i love using them, but you would probably end up way happier and with something that will last a lot longer and be more chip resistant if you just got a local body shop to spray it. You could probably see if they have some silver that would suit you sitting around. I doubt it would be very expensive. Just thinking about all of the edges and corners that have to be painted is nerve racking lol.

Im on a budget so tsp lts are what i am going to get. Figure they will last longer than the pacesetters.

I havent done much spray painting on plastic, but i have used it to restore an armoire and a dresser for my boys. I used Valspar paint with amazing results, u would never know it was rattle can work. Single din is 50mm tall, think a normal sized pioneer radio that doesnt have a screen. Chevy did a din and a half for several years and Chrysler/Dodge still do. Double Din is 100mm tall and is the size 2003 and up silvy's came with, think navigation size

Your not stuck, just have to wire direct like the guy before you. The adapters are better, just because most people dont prefer to lop off factory harnesses when an adapter is readily available. Do like sinr said and get a head unit if you have better than stock speakers and see if you want to undertake the amp install after that

Had mine tuned that way. Only con I can think of is it is harder on your trannyif it is still stock. I dont use it very often, and dont hammer on it when i do, heard of too many people hurting their trans that way. My tuner pulled all the tm on it when it is in tow/haul, upped the line pressure and moved the shift points up a lot higher. I just think its funny cuz when i take off slow in tow haul mode it doesnt shift to second until like 23 mph.

I put an avic x930bt in mine and it helped a lot, but i have to be honest, i really think the crap speakers would benefit from an upgrade. Infinity Kappa has some good 2 ohm speakers, for a good price, image dynamics has some really good replacements but they run qbout 200 a pair. It seems that the only benefit of a bose over stock is just the amp, which the majority of folks end up bypassing and just leave it in the system for retaining chimes and warnings. I havent upgraded anything but the deck and i can can verify what Ryan said, the head unit does make a huge difference, u can dial in the quality of sound a lot better.
