  1. Thanks for finding both part numbers. Have you tries drilling the front bump stops?
  2. I have already cut the bumps by one bump. How much room should there be?
  3. Hi guys, I need to get a new Belltech street performace front shock since one is leaking. I don't have a reciept so I have to just buy a new one. Does anyone know the part number for the front lowered 2" shock? Also does anyone know the part number for the stock front bump stops? I'd like to try the utting holes in them trick. Thanks for the help Jason
  4. Wow..... Glad this guy represents my area in a good way......... I don't know the guy and haven't seen his truck but the roads hes on are about 5 miles from my house.
  5. In your second picture (the view from the passenger side), there is a little nipple like thing behind the fuel line crossover. Is this suppose to be open or closed? On mine it looks to be broke off.
  6. Cool thanks for the help. Now I just need to find time to bolt this up.
  7. So for the EVAP line did you just use some extra fuel line? Was this swap worth it?
  8. I was wondering if any here had some pics of the TBSS intake installed? Other that the how to thread. I am trying to figure out what to do with the EVAP line. Thanks for the help.
  9. This 4L60E, 4L65E high performance kit includes a complete gasket and seal set, HI-ENGERY lined 2/4 band, teflon lined pump bushing, case bushing, filter and complete set of ALTO Red Eagle powerpacks. Most kits you will see only have the powerpack for the 3/4 clutches. Our kits have all of the clutch packs made with the Red eagle material and Kolene steel plates. I got this kit off ebay and now I am not going this route. I would like to get 250 shipped for this kit. I am not willing to seperate the items. Thanks Jason
  10. This is my first torque converter so I am not sure what staying locked would feel like or do?
  11. Well I got my TBTC, transgo HD2 shift kit, servos, boost valve, and tune installed. The shift kit and tune are set up for medium hard shifts since this is my DD. I can tell a major difference in performance already. It will take some getting use to driving with the higher stall. I have some questions about the tune. I noticed when I left off the gas and just cost the RPMS stay a lot higher like 1000-1300. IS this normal for a tune? Seems like it makes braking tougher. Also when I put the truck in gear to reverse or drive the rpms go up also. When driving around it sometimes seems as though the truck is shifting quick, but it might be a downshift??? I'm not too sure. There are a lot of hills in my area not sure if this is contributing. I am just wondering if this normal and I just need to get used to it?
  12. Ok the the "line" down the middle of the tire where the water goes is toward the inside on all four wheels. Im almost positive all the sides walls arew here they should be. Ive had the tires for awhile now, but I'll double check so I can sleep at night. Thanks for the help.
  13. I have Nitto 420s on my truck and just got it back from the dealer. I guess they did a rotation on my tires. I thought I remember reading on here that these tires are directional. Is there a way to tell if they are on the wrong sides? I tried looking but cant really tell a difference. What I noticed is that on one side the smaller angled cut goes down and on the other side it goes up. This is looking from the from of each sde. I will try to get some pics tomorrow before the truck goes into the transmission shop. Thanks for the help guys.
  14. Good to know. I will probably just wait to put the new PCM in then.
  15. So I am finally taking my truck in to get the TBTC, shift kit, servos, and other misc. parts installed this week. The shop is about 10 miles from my house. Should I put the tuned PCM in before it goes to the shop or after it comes home from the shop? Thanks for the help.
  16. Thats pretty good. Im starting to lean more towards the Aerochamber mufflers.
  17. That is neat. That would be fun to mess with neighbors lol.
  18. Ya I have watched those videos. I like the sound of the mufflers but am wondering about the performance of them. I am wondering if there is the slight low end loss like the flowmasters or not. How bad is the drone in the cab. Those kinds of things.
  19. I will send a message to fast4popper to see how he likes the aerochambers. I'm not sure I like the magnflow sound. Thanks.
  20. What component speakers is everyone using? I have 6.5" crystal in the doors. I am thinking of adding another set of component speakers in Qlogic kick panels and was wondering what is good these days? I have had my crystals from roughly 7 years. If I add a set in kick panels should I change the doors speakers also? What about running 5.25" components in the back doors? Has anyone done this? Thanks.
