  2. That's a nice bike. I have an 08 yfz450. Currently saving up and buying all the pieces to do a long travel set up. No pictures right now since I am at work. What jack stand is that? I have been looking to get a jack stand for my bike since I will be doing the suspension install myself once I get all the pieces.

  4. How are the belltech sway bars compared to djm and hotchkis? The front and rear kit are at 375 withdrew shipping on auto anything.
  5. An install party might be the way to go it sounds like. I have not met anyone from the site yet. I am still hunting around for some heads, if I even go that route. I would like to go with a cam, springs, push rods, maybe LS2 timing chain, and my TBSS intake and ported throttle body. I am still leaning towards the XR265HR, just not sure what the real difference is between the high lift and low lift versions. It sounds like from what I have read it will be the best for what I am looking for (DD friendly, can pass SMOG) and the trans work I have had done already.
  6. The labor would not be done by me. The price quotes I am getting back to do a cam swap head swap and TBSS intake installed are out of this world, and that's with me supplying all the parts. I might be reconsidering my plans. I am being quoted 3000 just to install the cam...Stupid California and your high prices for everything except slurpees...

  8. If I got the 243 heads, how much do I need to have milled off to fit the 6.0? I have heard any where between .25-.30".

  12. I have not had my TBTC for very long so I don't want to pay again for a new stall and labor until I need to repair the trans. I'm just trying to do a mild cam. I'm just curious if I can find the heads if its worth it to do the upgrade while getting a cam and tbss intake installed.
  13. The heads I saw were off a 5.7 don't remember the year. I choose that came because my truck is my daily driver and didn't want to change my TBTC out just for the cam. I also have to pass CA smog.

  16. Would either the 243 or 317 heads be a good upgrade with the mods in my signature tbss intake ls6 spring and XR265HR...212/218 .558/.563 115LSA cam. This is only if I can get a good deal on the heads.
  17. Yea thanks for the heads up. I guess that's. what these forums are for huh. I guess I could drop the money in some 243 heads and cam instead. Thinking about some 243 with ls6 springs and 212/218 low lift cam to go with my tbss intake.

  24. Do you guys think my exhaust would be better off switching from edelbrock shorty headers, dual flow master 40s with an x pipe to bassani mid length headers to magnaflow dual in dual out with built in x pipe?
