  3. when Andrew uploaded that video, i saw a couple things up in the photobucket for the shop and felt like posting them... they are random but one is pretty funny. have you ever asked yourself, what do the folks over at Kelley Performance think about scissor doors on a vette...? wonder no more! a picture is worth 1000 words! now who was bright enough to guess Pedro's shirt was missing that day...? this is one of our favorite Vettes we ever put out, we have more pics of it and i think its been posted on here before but i love it. comments welcome

  5. in my expereince, we have done a few blown ones... i even owned an 05' SRT10 Viper with a Paxton blower putting down 630 RWHP and that thing still sucked.... those engines have THE most NARROW power band EVER! the RCSB we did the blower on was running a 12.8 with bolt ons and tune. after an added 120 RWHP from boost he ran a.... 12.6. yeah. my SSS stilll got him by most of a whole second spinning the whole way

  10. your welcome, and your right. the pink has alot to do with it. i spent hours custom mixing pinks for the last sport bike i did... its pretty similar to yours, prob why i like it so much lol
  11. i think thats black like they all are OE... just looks silver from all the light and reflections. love the truck, very good job. not overdone and not a nasty color pink. ive actually done pink/black sport bikes, cars, but never a truck!

  13. nice, sounds like a good race. so what mods do you have now? did the SRT have anything done...? they are right, a CC SRT10 runs 14.2-14.5 stock... a basic bolt-on RWD VHO/SS would EASILY take one, espeically from a slow roll like that. my roommate a few years ago had an 06 CC SRT10 ram that i found him... i had the SSS still but my DD was none other than a RCSB SRT10 ram (he swears he had wanted one anyways, no relation to driving mine lmao.... sureeeeee). before we modded them, i raced him a few times.... was priceless. from a dig to 80, i had him by 3-4 trucks and he hardly spun, i spun all thru first part of second (was a little heavy launch). best time i saw in his was 14.28... thats at sea level too couple that with 6-7 MPG, we have a winner! that truck sucked... now the RCSB... i LOVED it powertrain wise- lets not talk about the fit and finish or interior.... not worth it lol. and people say things about GM and plastic... HA. obviously they never driven a Ram. but- it wasnt just a few hundred pounds more and a 4 spd auto VS T56.... it was way more than that. both trucks are cable throttle, SD (speed density- no MAF) tuned trucks (yes these WERE built from 03-07... way to stay current chrysler!). the RCSB had a totally different suspension, factory traction bars (yeah, cool if you ask me), and although both "rated" 505 hp., we saw over 40 RWHP loss on the CCSB. why? it has a secondary cable on the throttle, and no its not for cruise control... its a powertrain abuse management for the auto trans that doesnt exsist on the RCSB. its why we saw barely 470 hp at crank on the CCSB. my truck actually dyno'd out over 505 hp at crank... (yes im aware of less powertrain loss but come on like 2-3% doesnt make 40 RWHP lol) bottom line? RCSB (assuming they can drive it, which is utterly rare... not an easy truck to drive hard. they will hook pretty well all considering but you need to know it very well- a 305 tire, traction bars, and a 6 spd manual enable you to get a nice launch if you can lol) ran mid 13's stock when i bought it. i know youd think it would be faster but that was a good run actually. we did a Mopar street cam designed for the trucks, (claim 25-30 whp gain according to Mopar, never dyno'd after), CAI, removed OE cats (swear on my life- read this and tested bc i didnt believe it- remove the 4 huge cats ONLY no other exhaust mods- gain of 20-25 RWHP) rest of exhaust stock... stock tune ran 12.9, custom tune ran 12.6. dont recall trap speeds but were high, traction wasnt as easy to obtain after mods. CCSB- stock best was 14.28... what did it do on a FULL exhaust, no cats, CAI? 14.15 and it sounded like a pissed off twin-charged I4 (dont ask why... it legit sounded like a forced 4 cyl)... so if you see a CCSB and are lightly modded>....? pick the fight your bound to win if you see a RCSB, either be forced, AWD from a dig, or have luck on your side lol. there has been some serious SRT10 rams through the shop down here... its those SRT8 Jeeps you need to watch.... those little bastards are quick, 1.6 60ft bone stock low 13s. they are geared like old muscle cars and AWD with good power not to mention lighter than our trucks.

  15. im for this 100%. i have plans to sell the shop ECSB truck and maybe (hope not) STi to buy an 05-06 3500HD Duramax Dually... the first pic is definitely going the right way, just gunna either bag it or drop it 6/8 or 5/7 w/ helper bags, not sure yet. this thread just made me wanna sell them both ASAP now and get going on it! shooting for easy DD towing of over 20-24k lbs, low 12s, great MPG. just not red... lol. red sss? i like. red HD Dually? cant do it, too big lol. thinking matte white pearl...? close to that C6Z we did... i can dream right? prob no badges or cladding tho... id like the cladding just alot of work considering what this project will cost to begin with
  16. that sucks... IMO from having several trucks/cars stolen from me awhile back, and NEVER recovered... it didnt stop until i took it into my hands. id be pretty shocked if anyone who steals cars ever tries to steal one of ours... i guess word travels fast in the car theft world unfortunately these trucks are pretty easy to drive right off and onstar is useless even if activated. it takes on average, even if you notice your truck missing immediately, several hours just to get a trace from onstar to police. they wont tell you anything, wont even look at where the truck is until there is a COMPLETELY open and ready to go police report, and only once onstar recovery people have that report and ALL your info AGAIN before sending police info. now how long does that take for those of you that have done this...? disabling onstar takes literally seconds... sry this just pisses me off, its one thing for someone to steal a camry like the other 18 million of them right down the street that will most likely be relpaced exactly as it was or better... but a limited production, custom truck? might as well be a kidnapping (you know what i mean, obv thats way way worse). good luck with it
  17. thats amazing, theres actually more than 2 SSS trucks within the southern part of florida lol? i swear im jealous as hell of the cali group and all their big meets you and me both.... i go to tear that CL 4L65 i bought down to strip the case and what happens right away? Shrek did the last rebuild and used a 1/2" impact on the Torx bellhouse bolts... gunna have to cut it off it never ends with these slushboxes... ugh wait, ill just steal Andrew's he wont notice if he only has 2 forward gears right....? O.D is totally overrated! ill tell him i got him a set of 4.56's for xmas
  18. i never said it NEEDED big red brakes... was just a question. bc let me put it THIS way- we dont just build chevys, and from my experience if the truck has the Baer 6S kit it 90% of the time has the blower... and they BOTH were options, along with a self-leveling rear suspension, and a few other things... base Saleen truck MIGHT run a 15 on a great day that comment above about wegiht... thats no lie. throw about 250 lbs of body kit on and a cast set of 23's and BOOM its over 6k now yeah hes right... they put out more than lightning. but ran about the same due to weight and other things... like huge wheels lol. look i owned an 05' F150 5.4 Harley.... it had FULL bolt-ons custom dyno tune by me, made about 390-400 hp at flywheel (on stock 17s) but was on 26" wheels (bought it that way dont start with that, i realize lol)... thing ran like a low 15 lmao, ran out of power vs. wind at like 118 mph and it was slammed with a bedcover
  19. ....wish my SSS wasnt STILL broken lol. time is not on my side... curse GM for ever inventing the horrid 4L60-series trans! Come on you designed them for 185 hp V8's at best WHY keep it for 3 decades? And NO adding an electric aluminum valve body does NOT make up for the other 300 hp!

      psh i wish i still had that T56 in there... i took it out temporarily when i got really sick and could not drive stick (both my SS and Z06 were stick, had to swap to 4L70e until i got better). meanwhile i was fighting that nonsense, someone broke into my warehouse and stole my T56... since then i just never had the time or extra money to buy another one and another twin disc setup... but i still plan on it

  20. yeah im pretty excited to do that LOL. i think ill do one under the hood, one under the rear/rollpan projecting right at the back of the truck, other two might be for ambidextrous race kills
  21. hey there, welcome guy! wow look your an overnight star but yeah we have some plans for the truck too. we want 11s first off but i really dont think its all that far off. and we're gunna do a photoshoot soon with all the KP vehicles in it all professionally photohgraphed and all. so look for that in the pics section. btw, nice signature ;)
