  1. could be a loose or cracked flex plate, thats pretty common. also like said above you really need to fix that t-case, the SS cases are not cheap or easy to find... its not a big job, just take it down and open it, clean it really good and use some high temp silicone to put it back together. then fill with GM Autotrac II fluid (very important)
  2. no the SS's all share the same suspension, 2WD or 4WD. you wont rub on stock tires with that drop, but a 3/5 will make the back sit a tiny bit lower than the front... and i highly recommend helper bags with that c-notch, it rides SO much better
  3. do a search on google, somebody makes a fiberglass replica... you will never find an original urethane JGP bumper cover, its not gunna happen lol.
  4. you dont need to mess with the OEM flasher for LEDS.... all you need to do is buy some $5 20W resistors and connect them in line between the ground and power wires on each bulb you use. that will fix your issue and no messing with the sensitive factory electronics heres a link- 25W Resistors
  5. ^^ what he said. got any pictures of it? and there are two models- the Touring and Sport. the Sport is the louder of the two...
  6. looks good, but you should put an SS style front bumper cover on it. and just IMO, if your going to have SS badges on it you should at least swap an LQ9 into it instead of a 5.3, just my .02
  7. looks good. why didnt you leave your other wheels on it? the staggered fitment looked good with your drop
  8. he doesnt have an external regulator, he doesnt have a fuel filter (GM... ) the fuel pump regulates the fuel pressure, its a returnless system so it kinda eliminates that issue. they pretty much either die or work, almost never in between.
  9. kenne bell blowers are not roots blowers.... they are twin screw. they are not more efficient by any means... are they capable of making more boost than a Radix 112/122? yes, they are larger. but a TVS blower will make more HP per PSI of boost than a Kenne Bell, and can run more than enough boost on an LS. for a daily driven, street truck that you want to get good gas mileage and drive-ability out of you really cant beat the roots blowers. and yes, the Radix kit is CARB legal if you leave it the way it comes... IMO- if you want an easy 600 WHP, go with a TVS 1900/2300 from Magnacharger, a nice blower cam (i like the Lingenfelter GT9 for street/DD), some good 317 ported CNCd heads, and you will LOVE your setup. who doesnt love 400+ RWTQ off 1,800 RPM??? you cant beat that awesome low end power, no lag/spool time at all, efficiency, etc etc
  10. you can use 42lb injectors, but you wont need that big... i like the 5.3l flex fuel 36lb injectors, they drop right in and are very easy to tune. if you really want the delphi 42 lb.hr injectors i have a set for sale
  11. TTT come on a few weeks ago i had like 4 PMs to buy these things, fuel is kinda important folks
  12. yeah go to vleds.com, they have quality LEDS which are hard to come by lol. we sell them and have almost never had an issue with them. buy the resistors from them too. but dont use jumpers to connect it, use butt connectors or solder it to make a solid connection. cool thing is they come in 5k and 6k to match HIDs, as most only come in AROUND 8k-ish lol
  13. its not that i think a plug "went bad", it could have fouled from internal issue, have a small crack, wire could have high resistance/small tear not visible... im just trying to help you here, this is usually the case on a low mile car in good shape with a random miss. you have stock wires and plugs?
  14. its actually got about EVERY mod you can imagine on it now, i just dont have pics of it. 160 rear tire/custom 4" wide OEM wheel, zero gravity screen, lowered 1.5/3, full exhaust- custom stainless header into a CF FMF slip-on (sounds great, like a 600 surprisingly), dynojet jet kit, CNC ported throttles, custom airbox, flush LED signals, custom LED integrated tail, KOSO rx-2 custom gauge cluster, etc etc i could go on lol.
  15. yes a clogged cat will absolutely cause a miss. like said above, change your plugs and wires first- it wont hurt either way and is most common issue. then, buy some MAF cleaner at auto parts store, clean off the MAF element, clean your TB with throttle clean (not brake cleaner, can mess up coating on TB plate), and last id check that cat out. if you can remove the y pipe and visually see down the pipe to see cat element, do that. if you cant, hit it with a rubber mallet and check for a loose sound/rattling sound. that indicates a bad cat. also, i find that the tune can be a culprit MANY times. i have no experience with who tuned your truck. if you have access to HP Tuners your welcome to email me your tune, id be happy to check it out
  16. its in my sig right above my email address. you have better luck texting me, im not great with the phone i get busy/distracted what do you want to know about that vette???
  17. lol thanks guys only the NOSY customers who GO THROUGH MY COMPUTER stumble upon THAT folder of pictures.... you know who you are
  18. well id stay out of my shop then cause most the time theres at least one here if your possibly working in a federal prison and i possibly get locked up there and you possibly help lead to my successful escape, than sure
  19. does it count for me if one of my trucks 'how it sits' is sorta in that picture ^^ ?
