  1. i have a set (8) Delphi injectors 42lb. these are the injectors that come on the 8.1L GM motors in the silverado/avalanche/suburban, some Mercury Marine GM big blocks, and in the Magnacharger Radix kits. they use your exsising OEM truck "Multec II" injector connectors, so no wiring harness changes/connectors needed. these are shorter than LS1 style injectors and must be used with injector "cups"/extensions to be run on a stock LS1 fuel rail/manifold. the injectors have about 35k miles on them, and were flushed with sea foam every oil change. there is no rust or corrosion in or on them, and no leaks. these were on a Radix kit and work perfectly, no issues. price is $250 shipped. shoot me an email or a PM. John
  2. your best bet is to take a razor blade, cut JUST as much space as you need- a single 'slot' cut from where the exsisting hole is towards the center, out away from the hole. this way, after you fish the wire through the grommet will seal around the wire. on the second rubber grommet under the dash inside the truck, it will pop out towards the rear. once you pull the wire through the cut front grommet, trim a circle around the edge the size of the wire on the rear grommet. then pop the rear grommet back in around your wire. this way your still sealed and no air/water will come in. the hole is just too big to pull the whole grommet out, and i have seen people do that- there is always wind noise when driving, the hole is too big for anything to really fill it in
  3. yeah the pins he is referring to are on the PCM connectors. you have that right, and it is important that you match those two wires as one is the high fan, one is the low fan. and ovbiously dont drive the truck without a tune first!
  4. im hanging in there! going to take a bit longer to get rid of me thanks for asking! yeah i prob should become a vendor... yes this intake fits right up to a 90mm TB. and no, the LS3 TBs are the same size as the LS2/7 TB just half the price. FAST does make a 92mm and a 102mm, and Nick Williams makes a 102 mm as well. obv the 102's are no benefit to the Radix as the opening is only about 90mm, but they work great on the FAST 102mm manifolds (just big money combined, like $2000) no this intake tube/MAF setup will not throw your CARB emissions out of line, and i can just make it with the PCV inlet built in so you keep your PCV emissions-friendly too
  5. your just jealous cause your not faster yeah your right... there is this busted ass black SSS there that is making the shop look just AWFUL!!
  6. that thing is huge... you would need ALOT of supporting mods including forged internals to get any benefit out of that. theres no running low boost with that lol
  7. im with everybody else- its not worth the money, you wont see hardly any gains with shortys. go for some longtubes and a good tune. ive also never really heard of or used that company so im not sure as for the size- IF your planning on sticking with bolt-ons, mild cam, and staying under 500 RWHP use the 1 3/4" headers. you will loose low end torque if you run 1 7/8" on a stock/mild modified truck, ive seen it on the dyno before. the 1 3/4'' will get you just fine where you need to go unless your looking for some serious HP. the only NA LSx's we run 1 7/8" on is LS3/7 style head vehicles, they flow alot more air
  8. yeah there products are awesome. i use the waterless on my truck, and half of its black. no swirls or scratches. but like they said, youd use it in between washes not really to 'wash' a really dirty vehicle. what i really love is their detail spray- that stuff is GREAT. spray it on your truck after you rinse it off after washing it, and NO water spots at all. that will take care of your issues all you do is mist it over the whole truck while wet right before you dry it, and not only will it remove any water spots but it leaves a dirt-repellant surface that looks freshly waxed and will stay clean for twice as long
  9. thanks now we just need to do a matching GM truck for her.... im in the process, should be done in about two weeks
  10. do you already have the stuff? the LS2 TB is alot more than the LS3 and is no benefit to it. we have LS3 TB's in stock, OE and ported. ported are usually good for 5-7 RWHP on a stock LS3/7 (over stock LS3/7 TB). we can fix that
  11. no it was sold to a customer... i am making one similar to that in the next few months, a blown Z06 same color, except the gloss black trim on the bottom (splittler, diffuser, rockers) will be carbon fiber. the roof and b pillar is still going to be black.
  12. nice, those are good tires. one of my fav truck tires im with them, drop that thing!
  13. if it wasnt several days drive id say come do it over here! but it is, so ill be there in spirit have fun, ill be down here wishing there were more than 3 SSS in the whole damn state
  14. yeah you dont need to mess with your cat-back. magnaflow is great stuff, not restrictive and good sound. people who are looking to save money mostly buy the Pacesetters, i have installed those they arent bad. they arent stainless though, so i highly recommend getting them in ceramic coating. just buy the headers ALONE and have a shop build you some mid pipes that connect up to your magnaflow, duals- one pipe each header into the muffler. if you have the dual in dual out, the muffler has an X built in. if you have a single/dual muffler, you need to run an X-pipe before the muffler when you make the mid pipes
  15. nice, i hate to say it cause its stereotyping but almost every person i come across in a Z or G always are kinda douchey... (if you own one, not trying to offend its just MOST people down here who own them). always good to hear one get the doors blown off they always think they run like 9s for some reason your truck wouldve walked it anyways
  16. why thank you sir btw this intake on a radix has shown an average gain of 6-8 WHP on STOCK radix applications, double on higher boost applications on our Dynojet. and we also sell a 90mm TB conversion kit for the 3 bolt J tubes, that does NOT require changing the whole J-tube!! (saves money and no disassembly of blower) the two items together have shown a gain of roughly 20-25 RWHP on 10 psi Radix setup. and of course if you bought the two together, theres a discount ;)
  17. thanks for all the kind words! psh you always got the LEO discount you bastard and yes thats what it means, it also applies to military (and coast gaurd )
  18. was going through photobucket making the shop threads and thought id share this is my 06' Hayabusa Limited and my girls custom Ninja 250R (her first bike, hence the little engine and shes 5' 0" ). we customize/paint just about anything what do you all think? John her bike before: the mind at work: the process:
  19. i know many of you know that we are a custom shop already, but i figured id post some pics of some of our work and let everyone else know we do ALL types of automotive work- custom paint, maintenance, tuning, engine building, bolt-ons, etc but we specialize in LSx applications such as the SSS, Corvette, Camaro. shoot me an email or PM for a quote on something, if you have any questions, or just to ask about something. any work you are considering having done, whether local or not, give us a shout first- i am very competitive with pricing and everyone on here gets 10% off everything, LEO's get 15% off everything custom tuning: TVS2300 install: custom paint: engine builds: full custom builds/widebody: tinted lighting:
  20. here is one of our new products we offer. there will be a few new topics over the next week with all the products we offer, but here is a popular one- this is a custom 4"/100mm (the whole way, no choke downs) intake for a MP112/122 Radix supercharger that goes from your airbox to your throttle/j-tube. it uses a 4"/100mm MAF housing that we fabricate (one pictured is LPE, but three times the price so we make our own) and uses a GM MAF that has a higher range so you can properly tune your modified truck as the OEM MAF will max out with the Radix setups. so for those not running SD this helps alot with your tune. PM me for details, prices, and to order John pic of it in the truck
  21. somebody on here bought me a two tone SSS ornament that looks just like my truck a few years back if they have that, i figured theyd have a regular SSS!
  22. oh ok. i was gunna say, with a 1 1/4" spacer for you to still be inside the fender you must have the high offset TBSS 6x5 lol. anyways, yeah you wont rub with the 285/50
