  1. I ordered a Multi Disk Circle D converter with a stall of 3200 and mine works great with no issues. What did Chris have to say about it?? My buddy here as two Circle D converters and has had nothing but a great product from Circle D.
  2. Yep and its at 4595.00 and the reserve isnt even met. thats a lot of $$$.
  3. Hmm weird. I guess after you get your tune see what it does. your stall should still act like normal until you apply the foot brake.
  4. Yeah the DEF fluid tank is freaking ugly there. I sent my 2500HD down the road because of fuel milage. I'll either get a 6.2 denali or a duramax next.
  5. I would think it should still move in 1st gear on its own power with needing a tune. I wouldnt drive it more that 100 feet like that. My truck did the same thing the first time I pulled out of the shop after I did the swap. I had already had mine tuned too. it probably did that because it wasnt pressured up yet with trans fluid. the pump needs a bit of RPM to pump the trans with fluid after a swap.
  6. Looks good. I have a set of 24 inch slides for the wifes yukon. good looking wheel.
  7. After owning a 2500HD 6.0 gasser I'll never buy another 6.0 gasser HD worst gasser milage I have ever gotten. My leveled 05 HD with 4.10 gears only got 9.6MPG and 10.MPG on the high way. I could never get any better. all the was done to it was 33" tire and a leveling kit. My buddy on the other hand just bought a 07 LBZ Duramax 6.6 its lifted 6 inchs and has 35"s on it and it gets 14MPG all day long in town and he not easy on it. its chipped and has exhaust and a intake on it. But the Diesel option isn't cheap. but will last you forever if taken care of. the 6.2 Denali are a great looking truck and would be hard to pass up if I was looking for a crewcab truck. one thing I wished they would have made a SS in Crewcab. Would be a great family rig.
  8. Oh I thought we were still talking about the new pre body styles. not the newest body style.
  9. Denali's didnt come with a 5.3 the option is a 6.2 or the older styles had the 6.0 so its either a knock off or somebody swapped motors.
  10. bummer. nice looking ride. Did you leave it running when you went in or what?
  11. I would assume it would have to be a SS owner if not they were hardcore poster collector. Lol
  12. Its a hard one. I'm debating how much something like this is really worth to me. Yes it is cool. but sometimes I tend to over spend if its something I really want. On a side note these ae like the silverado SS R/C trucks. sometimes bidding could go crazy. dont ask me how I know since I have now bought two of them . still in the box sitting in the office.
  13. So did you say its now slipping? Was the leak bad enough where you ran it low on transmission fluid?
  14. Looks like it moves out retty good. those guys build quite a bit of trucks and they all seem to run well.
  15. A bit more info would help with a possible sale. maybe even picture or two.
  16. Welcome clean looking truck. I know of one member that lives in ND he drive a red SS with a 408 stroker in it.
  17. Looks sick. nice work. I'd think you should be good with 305/40s but i guess it is a bit more rubber than my 305/35/24s. I'm 3/4 and get very little rub at full lock with 24s.
  18. It doesnt bug me when people put SS badges on their truck. I sometimes poke and laught at people driving down that road that put SS badges on about anything. I know what a SS should be and what it should have to be a true SS. But also if somebody was to do a full on SS RCSB and did all the interior, AWD and Cladding it would be sweet. I really would have liked to seee GM make a crewcab SS and a RCSB SS. I'd for sure have a crewcab.
  19. You been to Vegas much? We went a few months back. worst choice I made was taking a cab. for a 18 miles round trip to the dragstrip and back to our hotel it was $175.00 with a tip. really wish I would have just rented a car. Next time we will.
  20. So last time you spoke with him was it through email or the phone? when was he to ship your stuff? I just talked with my buddy and he said he hasnt talked to him in over a month. they work in the smae line of work and often run into eachother. said he might be laided off right now. I'll try to contact him. did you have stuff dipped from him?
  21. Yeah no problem man . that's what this place is about helping out others. I know Justin is a good guy. I'm just not sure whats going on when it comes to getting stuff back out to memebers. Hope he make it right with him and get his stuff shipped back.
  22. Well if he doesnt get it shipped to you LMK. I'll see if my buddy can grab whatever it is that needs shipped and I will ship it for you.
  23. really wow. I have dealt with Justin a few times and never had any issues. I have a very close friend who works with Justin or at least he did last time we talked and Justin's name was brought up. I live 4 hours from Justin but my buddy is coming down to visit in the next week or two I can ask him for you. PM what you need from him and I'll ask. I know he's been trying to sell his SS and a few part on CL here locally. you have all his numbers and info? I see he has closed His FB account as well.
  24. After running the Nitto 420s I wont run another sport tire besides the 420s. I really like them. I have ran toyo proxes and BFG KDW T/A and I like the nittos much better. Mine have been wearing great. I like the wider 305 tire. I know some run a slimmer tire to get away with really low trucks. but the 305 is cheap insurance. I'm VERY picky about how close I get to a curb when parking my truck. I have now hit two curbs ever with my 24s in 4 years and the wider tire has saved the wheel every time. no wheel rash whatsoever.
  25. Yes there is a special Roll-pan for the Silverado SS. A standard roll-pan will bolt to the truck but will look like crap because the SS has the cladding. So you either need to buy a BSER roll-pan made just for the SS or figure something else out to make a standard roll-pan look right. Before you ask search BSER roll-pan. there has to be a group buy on them he does not sell them one by one. Last batch he made was like 10-12 at once and one guy bought all those and sold them on the forum. not sure if he has any left.
