Transmission, trashed....Ordered new one....4L65Evil ......I'll post more once I've blessed it....... Now the big question....Should I do nitrous or a blower (ATI D1SC)? If I do nitrous I don’t need to change anything pistons/cam...currently around 11:1 compression...Good to go, just have 6 15# bottles in the bed... If I do a big ass blower I'll need to change the pistons and maybe cam and some other stuff to handle 15+psi......... What to do.............. I think a trick progressive nitrous setup would be awesome. Multiple bottles in the bed with 2 or 3 feed lines. First stage for launch and shifts... second stage for the meat of the powerband... optional third stage for all out drag racing. Maybe even one of those fancy pulsed solenoids and controller for a ramped nitrous apply... So did they replace the t-case? I didn't think there were many servicable parts in there... NOS sounds like the easiest fit, but then you have the hassle of filling bottles. Tough choice. I've always wanted to do NOS, but the closest fill station is about an hour west.
