  1. That's a piece of history right there. Both nice rides.
  2. The front has been more than a few times on the NNBS aka GMT900 series trucks. You should be fine with 20" as long as you aren't close to the stock caliper to the back of the wheel now. If so, you might need a spacer to push the wheel out a little. For the rears of the GMT900 trucks I can't say with certainty everything will bolt up perfect. I'm fairly certain the mounting flanges on the ends of the axles are the same but I can't say 100% for sure on the e-brake assembly. I've sold kits to guys with GMT900 series trucks and so far nobody has contacted me with any issues.
  3. If I have anyone contact me that's looking for a set of the fronts, I'll send them your way.
  4. If you bought just the front brackets, then it would be $200. If you got front and rear brackets, it would be $300.
  5. 99 thru current with stock spindles
  6. I know you mentioned that it feels better, but if you've replaced the master, you may have air in the ABS unit. I have yet to find anyone that knows a way to get 100% of the air out without using a Tech II or equivalent scan tool to actuate the ABS unit while bleeding.
  7. There are a few guys that have purchased the brackets to do the conversion and I haven't heard about any problems from anyone. Part of the beauty of the conversion/upgrade is that it uses factory Corvette parts. Those parts have been designed and tested in conditions way more harsh than than they will probably ever see on anyone's truck. As for the brackets, it's just a big chunk of aluminum.
  8. Brackets are mounting points are identical to the ones Ray made. Just cleaned up the profile a little, radiused the ends for a little more clearance and took the edges off. Also, not all drop spindles are the same. The Beltechs have more area machined at the mounting surfaces and the mounting point to axle center line is very close to factory spindles. The McGaughy spindles are only machind in a small amount around the bolt holes. Also the McGaughy mounting holes are not the same as factory spindles. That's why people that have done the conversion with McGaughy spindles have to slot the holes in the brackets and/or the spindle to get more pad contact.
  9. There have been some that have made them work with McGaughy spindles, but I personally don't advise it. With Beltech they may. I mocked up everything on a Beltech spindle and it fit. But I can't say they haven't changed anything. I can get the part number if anyone needs it.
  10. You are good to go on the front then. Rear needs the swap first.
  11. First off, nice truck. Do you have drop spindles in the front? If so what brand? For the rears you will need to convert the drum to disc first. If don't, I believe you will loose your e-brake and I'm not sure what the situation for attaching the brake lines we be. I've never done the drum to disc swap or really looked into it. Maybe someone with more knowledge on that subject can chime in. I recall there might have been some info posted about doing the conversion on here or pt.net.
  12. Anyone else notice that the sellers claims "currently installed on a 01 Sierra with less than 100 miles on the kit." Sure doesn't look like a kit that's only seen 100 miles. I'd be more concerned why they are not being honest about the mileage. If everything checks out then I'd say its not a bad deal. Not a smokin deal either.
  13. No undersized stock rotors. Also, check out the beginning of this thread for all the answers to do the conversion.
  14. Brackets are done and ready to go! PM for details.
  15. So far I've never had anyone with either have any issues. My bracket replaces the factory caliper mounting bracket and bolts right to the housing flange.
  16. The front kit is $200 and the rear kit is $150 if purchased separately. If you get them both at the same time you save $50, so the total is $300. Those prices are shipping included to anywhere in the lower 48 states. I ship Priority mail insured and signature required so we are both protected under Paypal. Those prices also include all new 10.9 zinc coated hardware for mounting everything except for the rear kit that reuses four factory bolts.
  17. The fronts are still at the anodizing shop. They said they would be done mid week. Might just be backed up a bit. I'll call them if I don't hear from them by Friday.
  18. Yep, just a different colors.
  19. Machine shop took a bit longer than anticipated but brackets are done being machined. Off to get anodized this week.
  20. What are you trying to do?
  21. My first reaction was go for it. But after reading that you are planning on buying a house and your long term goal would be to sell it, I would say pass. You will need more money than you expect when you first get your house. Plus there is always the chance that if you take it to the strip, you could break something and now you have to sink more money into it. Unless you are going to trade and then sell it for a profit, I'd pass.
  22. Call your credit card company and inform them of the situation. The should cancel the transaction no problem.
