  1. The reason they are popular with the SS crowd is because a while back there was a head to head comparison of intakes done by a member. Outlaw came out on top.
  2. If you are willing to separate I'm interested in the arms.
  3. Yeah, I've noticed issues with that feature as well.
  4. Working on trying to find a good source ATM.
  5. While I can't say that nobody has ever had any issues, I can say this. Before I started selling these brackets in 2010, Ray was selling them. I'd say somewhere around late 2008/early 2009 if I recall. So that's 5 years. In that time the worse thing I've heard about these rotors is a couple of members that warped them by impacting the lugs on. Now that's not to say there haven't been any issues. But nobody has come on here informing the rest of us of issues and I haven't received any emails either. I've also read the somewhere around 2006 Baer changed their supplier for their rotors. Could be the reputation for cracking has just stayed with them.
  6. In your transfer case rebuild kit thread, there is a link to a manualtransmissionparts.com diagram. There is a part number for the bolts you need.
  7. Do these fit the stock location on a LQ9?
  8. Helping a buddy of mine with a project. We are collecting parts to build him an AWD 1970 Blazer, possibly compound boost. Free bump for ya
  9. If you haven't seen them, check out the 10/22 take-down. You can break it down to two pieces in literally seconds. Plus it comes with its own bag too.
  10. I've always thought that a stun gun wired into your seat would be a fun theft deterrent. Something that gave a audible warning, then fired off every 10 seconds for say 15 minutes. You might come out and find some thief getting zapped over and over again. I'm not sure if I would turn it off too soon or cal the cops right away. It would be fun to let them lay there and fry for a while.
  11. I've always been curious about the steering on a 4wd Tahoe. They have a rack and pinion I believe.
  12. Check out the thread below for info on his new shop. For anyone that doesn't know him, Ray is a great guy to deal with and a great source for the Baer rotors when doing the Z06 caliper upgrade. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/83451-the-ss-suburban-is-gone-new-shop-is-born-superstreet-performance/?do=findComment&comment=927245
  13. I recently heard from Ray that he had or had a source for silver colored calipers with no markings for a very good price for anyone interested.
  14. It's easy to say that. My buddies radix truck was at the dealership for over a month while the servicing dealership and the dealership that sold him the truck (radix was installed by selling dealership) went back and forth about coverage. To get it back to the selling dealership he would have had to ship the truck since it wasn't anywhere close to him. Even the Magnuson extended warranty didn't cover the damage since he didn't "break" anything, just burned up all the friction material in the tranny.
  15. Just to clear things up, the only reason to use a Tech 2 to bleed the lines is if air is introduced into the system between the between the master cylinder and the ABS module or if air has worked its way up the lines. The lowest point for the rear line is running along the underside of the cab, so a person shouldn't need to do anything more than a normal bleed as proven by the OP.
  16. One thing you can do if you are only looking for an inch more of clearance is to plate the inside of the frame. You are effectively doubling the beam strength by doing this. You can then notch up to half way through your frame and have it be just as strong.
  17. I would agree on the wrong interior pic. If you look at all the other pictures, the sun is casting a shadow on the drivers side of the truck. In the interior pic, the sun is on the drivers side.
