  1. AS long as they are the 15" rotors and not the 14" rotors they will work fine. If by chance you have the 14" rotors, you can simply swap the rotors since its a two piece design and use the same hats. There have been no issues with the rear brackets that I make that I've been made aware of. Only issues I've heard of with rear brackets is with a bracket made by another person. Those brackets didn't have any offset built into them to center the caliper over the rotors. JF-03-SS and a few other people I've heard of have had the guide pins rub their rotors. To my knowledge, there have only been a couple of people that had to shim their calipers to center them over the rotor using my brackets. Most are able to bolt them on and be done. But as with any modification, double check all clearances to make sure nothing is dragging or rubbing that shouldn't.
  2. 2006-2012. Make sure they are for the Z06 or Grand Sport, not the base model Corvettes. The part numbers provided are for the Z06 calipers. I don't know that Grand Sport part numbers, but other than being a different color, I've been told they are the same caliper.
  3. I agree with the guys above. I helped a buddy do a custom remote mount hydroboost install on a camera car. Thing was a pig and the booster they had on it was too small and was scary to drive. After the hydroboost the thing would stop way shorter. We did have some similar issues as you described Mr Scary. It ended up being air in the lines as others have mentioned before. I would bleed your system again.
  4. Sorry I've been MIA lately. My new little girl has been keeping me busy. Anyway, the price is still the same. Yes, I still have some left. I believe somewhere around 25 or so. Most likely I won't be making any more once they are gone. Anyone interested in getting a set can email my at [email protected]. As to what year the calipers are from Id have to look it up using the part numbers in the first post. If a parts store is giving you a hard time just give them the AC Delco part number. For the calipers, new, check eBay and sometimes Craigslist. Used, eBay, Craigslist, Corvette forums, google search for people parting out Corvettes etc.
  5. Thanks for the kind words Kelleyperformance. Always glad to see people are happy with something I made. Hey Chris, I sent you a pm, but in short the Brembo Camaro/CTSV calipers will not work without a lot of machining of the spindle and/or the caliper. The mounting ears/tabs are just way too long. For a one-off piece it might be possible but I just don't see a way to make a true bolt-on bracket like the Z06 brackets. For the cheapest "upgrade"/best bang for your buck I think the hydroboost and braided lines is the best. Also remember, the hydroboost will give you higher pressure but it won't help with brake fade or warping your rotors from over heating them. In fact, the higher pressure will make it worse. But if all you want is for a better braking for normal everyday driving then go for the hydroboost. Then if you want more do the Z06 upgrade. Yeah it costs a bit more, but if you drive hard and tax your brakes, the bigger rotors with better cooling and the better calipers won't fade and overheat like the stockers. Plus there is the bling factor as well.

  7. There is a someone with a black SS that lives on Tapo north of the 118. I've seen it when I went with my buddy to the dog park.
  8. Still have the heads? Anything damage/wrong with them cosmetically or functionally?
  9. Yep I still have some left. You can email me [email protected] if you want a set.
  10. Can you get a quote for shipping the heads to 91042?
  11. As stated above, its all in your setup. More than a few people go cheap and regret it in the end. You will find some that can lift the front or the rear, not each corner. With a system like that as you make a turn and the weight transfers to the outside bags, the outside bags compress and move air to the inside bag which makes for very poor handling. There are some that only lift and lower the whole vehicle. No corner control and no front or rear. This is the worst. As with any modification, do it right or don't do it at all.
