you could go with some SLP loud mouths as close to the front as possible, add some 4-6" pipe back to the rear. that size "well" pipe should give you ALL the noise you can stand, it will act just like a megaphone...

not to long ago, AFEES use to sell there gas on military bases for about .15-.20 cts. cheaper then on the economy. when they sold gas at $1.00 per gal they were making over .75 cts. per gal. profit.. because THEY DO NOT PAY TAXES of any kind on there fuels..a Government non-profit organization..

when i had my tune done by Bryan at his place, there was a issue with my pcm, so he was out of 03 cores so he took the one out of his 04 and tuned it for my truck. the gas gage was also backwards. i had it for about 2 weeks driving it and there was no issues. after he sent me a new one all good..

the only way you may find OEM is from vehicles shipped out side of north America. you may have to find a dealer that supports over sea delivery of GM trucks. even then it will be hard to get..there are a couple members here who are from Europe, maybe you can PM them and see what they can do.

it always seem to be the right side. i found that Sylvania are the best so far.i replaced my high/lows, with the cool blues, and my DRL with the amber in Aug.03 and still good. if you look at most replacement bulbs they will say 12V, the cheep China and Mexico bulb's S**K.. if your charging system is putting out 14.5-15.0V then it might be over powering the bulb rating. Sylvania rate some of there bulbs up to 16V. so if you have a bulb that keeps blowing out, check the voltage at the bulb WITH the engine running at about 1000 rpm that should give you a good measurement on voltage to that socket..my habit is if one tail, or front goes out i replace them both...some of the cheepo bulbs may not be blowing out, what i have found is that the bulb will not fit the socket right, to small in diameter and it louses contact..

another thing you can check when your under there is, check your trans cooler lines. maybe when they replaced your trans the lines may have gotten too close to the exhaust...

i think the amber DRL is what the trucks should have come with new..it makes it stand out more in traffic like the Vettes. i have had my Amber's in since 03 love em...
