  4. i had the same with mine. took it to the dealer and they replaced all 4 under warranty. you can try to push the holding tabs out a little, but there hard to move and might break. maybe some duct tape in the tabs just enough to keep them from moving.. good luck
  5. also put some dielectric grease in the boots, coil and plug. will make life easier the next time you pull them off. don't need a lot, just a lite coat on the inside. i use to put a small bead inside and roll the boot between my fingers and that will spread it around nicely...

when i was back in NY i changed mine about every 3000 mi. work was only about a mile a way, and never really got up to temp. now that I'm in CA. I'll change it every 7-7500 mi. M1 5-30 AC filter
  12. here is the link. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc24600.htm also if you clear corner the fronts, they can also get you for DOT. requirements for front reflectors amber in front, and red rear on all corners...
  13. well i will be the first...BAH HUMBUG...have not had one for a lot of years. i think the whole idea of it is has gotten to commercialised, and the spirit of the holidays has been lost to big business. it has gotten to where who gets the most, and who spends the most. i think if we all went back to the way it was 100 yrs ago, maybe more people would get into the spirit of things and not be at the end of there rope... the most depressing time of the year....
  14. that driver had to be a was probably just too lazy to use use his dollies that are on most wheel lift trucks. all i do when i have to tow a awd or 4x4 vehicle is raise up the front end on the stinger, and disconnect the 4 bolts that connect the drive shaft to the rear, wire the shaft up out of the way, and drive away. it only takes about 5 min or so...that goes for ANY rear drive vehicle good luck on the rebuild.
  15. there is a old saying, the only 2 thing that falls out of the sky are,..bird s**t and idiots well here is # 3 cargo... air_drops.WMV had a better vid but can't find it... enjoy
  16. [quote name='cwest94' date='Nov 23 2007, 07:11 AM' post='456922' On a negative note, there sure were a lot of drunks on the road last night coming home from work, where were all the cops at??? had to work and this is how i spent my day T boned by a drunk @ 8am they were all alive when they were flown out by chopper, but don't know if they lived..GOD I HATE DRUNK DRIVERS..
  17. i have a 7x14' v trailer that i towed with my SS from NY to CA loaded with my personal junk when i moved back to CA. weight was about 5000 lbs. i averaged about 10-11 mpg @ 55-60 mph. i also have a 33' travel trailed with a dry weight of 6800 lbs. when i moved it to where i am now i got 8-9 mpg with it. if i remember from your other thread your dry weight was about the same, maybe a little more. toy haulers are big over grown boxes, and after all the crap people put in them for a weekend outing, there grossly over weight. i know a lot of people here who have them and there putting " 10 lb into a 5 lb container " every time they go out... you may want to get a smaller toy hauler or step up to a 2500 to Carry the weight.. good luck
