  1. You'll still have to run a remote wire and tap into two wires under the center console to add a hi/lo converter.
  2. Looks good for 6's Rollin on rubberbands tho. Gotta be careful you don't bend a rim.
  3. Welcome man Sweet DD if all the diesel stuff wasn't so expensive, it be awesome to throw a dmax in the rcsb. There's a ton of good info on here and knowledgable people to help with the lsx build. And I'm sure it will draw a lot of attention once you start a build thread and add some pics.
  4. The knows about that spot, up in the headliner, behind the cig lighter and aux. They'll even drop the glove box and look up in the dash.
  5. Hatin' on Cheech He wouldn't even drive it....no good stash spots in it
  6. SS Prince Edition I'm all for being unique, but I'd rock a Mary Kay Edition SS before that. I'm sure for that price, that paint is hiding quite a few things....
  7. Before breaking my head trying to guess more, whats the prize for the right guess? Sierra? Another SS that has a swap done?
  8. Slammed with equal tire profiles, I'm gonna say it'll look good. If you do it and don't like it, you can always opt for one size or the other all the way around. I vote do it
  9. Luckily it didn't go flying through your windshield at you. I always hear horror stories of freak accidents like that. Sucks that it happened, but you'll have it looking brand new in no time man. GL with the quick fix
  10. Modded and on a long stretch of empty highway, fastest I ever had mine was supposedly 152. And that came from a buddy in his vette who stayed next to me.
  11. Removing as much moisture as possible, trying to keep the interior cool with it parked in the shade, and giving it a good thorough cleaning inside will def help and you might not need any air freshners.
  12. Personally like the Mossy Oak ones that aren't vanilla scented or the tropical shower scented sticks that go in the a/c vents.
  13. First get up everything you can with a wet vac. Shake some baking soda on and under the carpet and re-vac. Then put more baking soda under the carpet and vac it up after a week. Get a bag or two of Damp-Rid, some Febreeze, and some cool hanging pine trees
  14. You could also lower the rear with shackles and then add bags if you tow. It's a small drop, but lowering the COG improves handling. It wont be stock as you want, but will help with the results you are looking for.
  15. There's a lot of names everyone could call Brian
  16. The driveway has a slight incline, but the way I set up the garden blocks was way sturdier than any jackstand. It's possible. Have a year to plan, decide, and get work done to the whips. It would be awesome to have a big SS southeast meet in Georgia or Florida around next summer. Btw, still waiting on you to send me that hot Asian chick you promised
  17. WELCOME Nice rides man. If you stay around enough, it won't be long before you'll become ALTRDSS. Lots of good info here.
  18. The steps came with it when he bought it. Not really a clearance issue with them. The crossmember, skid plate, chassis, and rear diff are all lower than them. It's his dd and gets driven a lot, so no jumping through mid air. Maybe got the front up a couple times speeding through deep holes. With the tires and slight lift now, it should start seeing some more mud and trails. Time to lift the SS
  19. Both a nice daily dragger and daily driver. The RST looks real clean without the stripe.
  20. And the Parent of the Year award goes to..........
  21. Thanks for the comments guys. Its one of the better looking h3's I've seen thats not over chromed. I'm trying to talk him into me adding hids and clearance lights for him too. The tires did their job, but the intake made the low end power horrible. It def needs tuning. I'm trying to determine some ticking noise now that sounds like it could either be coming from the valvetrain or in the bell housing. No cel except for a map sensor code that comes and goes. Which shows do you speak of Justin?
  22. I think trying to go to 2wd would require a diff trans or tailshaft from one, driveshaft, front suspension, and tuning. If you really want it, try finding someone willing to swap parts, otherwise it's cheaper to just fix your truck.
