  1. anybody know where there's a 24 hour Home Depot in Northern New Jersey...think I need to go get a screw...
  2. I have Windows, but as mentioned above, everything that I've heard about Mac is that it's bulletproof. From what I've heard, you don't even need anti-virus software with Mac, that's how good it is. As far as graphic and web design goes, Mac is the Cadillac.
  3. They look real good, nice job The shorter tires will definitely help out at the track too
  4. Absolutely beautiful man! You and ChevyMan23 have 2 of my favorite trucks around...that's the SS GM should have built
  5. I just recently read somewhere that snakes can't kill when they're on a plane for some reason...can't produce venom or something like that. Kinda kills the whole story line if it's true
  6. I'm a righty, but I do alot of stuff with my left hand due to injuries to my right shoulder and elbow. Unfortunately, the left side has developed the same problems I learned how to write left handed when I broke my wrist at age 6, but haven't really done it again since. I tried writing lefty when I had surgery on the right side almost a year ago and just got by...my hand writing looked like a psycho wrote it though
  7. Truck looks sweet....I'd like to see a front view of the 4th one down
  8. Yes that is very ugly but i LOVE the drink they are SO GOOD!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree...ugly ride, great drink (5 vitamins and 3 minerals or something like that?)
  9. Very nice pics...nice truck, nice scenery
  10. Yea, we get alot of customers like that at Lexus too...amazing that people so dumb can manage to be so rich There should be an idiot tax for people like that, but unfortunately it would never pass since the idiots are the ones in charge
  11. Interesting...I'd like to see them on something though. They do look kinda cool
  12. Thanks everybody! Uhhhh....good question. Actually, My heads should be back from WCCH soon (they finished them up at the end of last week), and I dropped the block off at my dad's shop a few weeks ago. Now I have to find time to go over there, get it up on an engine stand, and work on it. We have a baby on the way that's due around Sep 6, and I was hoping to have the engine done first, but I'm not so sure it's gonna work out that way...so hard to find the time
  13. Seven years after taking delivery of the truck, and about two or so years of talking about it, I finally debadged the thing this past Sunday. I also removed the tow hooks a few weeks ago. Still need to buff around where the old mouldings were, but the transformation is coming along. There's some minor bodywork in the future, and hopes for a rollpan and eventual cowl hood. I've also wanted a Z71 Tahoe front grille and bumper and painted mirror caps, but I go back and forth between that and the current chrome stuff...but here's what I have for now
  14. Just a little more info on the car...I pulled the factory 305 HO (195 HP), and dropped in one of the ZZ crate motors (can't remember which one...it was the original ZZ motor, but I put the later cam and intake on it...I think it was around 345 hp). It had a feedback Quadrajet that was intended for a 454 truck, Edelbrock TES into a gutted cat, with Hooker duals that exited behind the rear tires like the Buick GN's. (people used to ask me if it was a Grand National all the time). Suspension was mostly stock with some urethane bushings on the front sway bars, KYB shocks, and eventually some Cargo Coils in the rear for a slightly stiffer ride. Trans was a 200R4 that was fine until I had it built, then it was nothing but problems. 3.73 rear. When I bought it, it only had 48k and the interior was immaculate...paint was shot (acid rain, never waxed, parked under trees) I think I had around 135k on it when I used it as a trade in towards my truck.
  15. OverKill, hands down (for those of you who've never heard of them, they're along the lines of Megadeth, old Metallica, etc., only better...and heavier, and better )
  16. Thanks man...not sure if I have any burnout pics, if I do, I haven't found em yet. BTW, the car's an 85, but the wheels are from an 87, with BFG 235/60R-15's on them (I think the factory size was 215/65R-15 or something like that)
  17. Been cleaning up lately, getting a room ready for when the baby comes in September During the cleanout, I found an old dusty photo album that looked really familiar. In it was some pics from the mid 90's when I was a tech at Leonard Toyota in River Edge, NJ. Found a bunch of pics that I took of my old Monte back in the day, and scanned them into my computer to show you guys. Man, I miss that car...I kick myself for getting rid of it every time I think about it Maybe some day I'll build another one, but for now, at least I still have some memories...
  18. 666 huh?....think I'll go listen to Iron Maiden's 3rd album That reminds me...my wedding anniversary is in two days...(06/08/02)...I wonder if the wife would like a new true dual exhaust
  19. Now that's shiny! That's blacker than Spinal Tap's album! (wanna do mine next? )
