  1. Shouldnt last too long, GLWS. I know I saw a post on pt.net a few days ago of someone looking for a Corsa muffler. Might want to check over there as well if you havent already.
  2. Ill leave the tuning to Zippy but this will definitely help me out with logging and such. Thanks again!
  3. Well I know this will be gone before I get the refund check from my lending company that Im waiting on, so GLWS. Id love to have it though, damn slackers need to get me my money! Would you consider taking payments?? Good trader rating over on pt.net, I wouldnt hesitate to buy from you.
  4. Yeah yeah yeah, it got left out when I copied and pasted it from another forum. Shut it nancy. Original post has been edited.
  5. Thank you. I love this truck and I really hate to sell it but when it comes down to it, I just don't need two trucks. And if it has to come down to selling this or the SS, well the SS isn't going anywhere!
  6. Really nice, high quality amp here. I had one in my truck for a while. GLWS
  7. Up for sale is my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with the 6.6L LBZ Duramax. It is a crew cab, short bed two wheel drive. Navy blue in color, LT trim package with power everything. Charcoal cloth seats. I have owned this truck for about a year now and it has been perfect. It needs absolutely nothing except for a new home. I will be moving back to east Texas soon and I just don't need two trucks. The truck currently has 204,xxx miles on it. Since I have owned it I have performed all of the maintenance to the truck myself, such as oil changes, fuel filter, transmission filter (both internal and external filters), rear differential fluid, etc. I have also recently rebuilt the fuel filter head assembly (these are prone to either leaking or losing prime) and have never had to pump the fuel filter unless after a filter change. I also installed a new WIF sensor at the last fuel filter change. Only modifications to the truck are straight pipe exhaust (no cat or muffler) and an MBRP downpipe. The truck is surprisingly quiet still for not having any exhaust restrictions but has a nice tone under hard throttle. I have never towed anything with this truck but it is more than capable to do whatever towing needs to be done. It has never been abused and a fifth wheel hitch has never been installed. The mileage will continue to go up slightly as I do drive the truck every day to work. Please contact me with any and all questions, I'm sure I've left something out. 903-918-9380. Asking $16,500 OBO. I am NOT interested in trades, so please do not ask. Zach
  8. He either meant 65e or he's just ignorant as to what he has. 80e's dont have a removable bell housing. Thats just a factory 65e and tcase from an SS. Likely he just doesnt know the difference.
  9. I bought these about a month ago with the intention to build up my fuel system but some things came up and I'm having to put the truck on hold. When I bought them I was told that they have under 1000 miles on them. They look practically new. I also bought separately a set of the EV1-EV6 adapters that I will include with the injectors. They are for EV1 on the harness side and the EV6 on the injector. Just trying to get back what I have in everything. Asking $800 shippedobo via paypal as a gift or you cover the fees. I can ship out same day if payment is received before 5pm Central time. Thanks!
  10. What are future plans for the truck? Plan on going forced induction, and if so what kind? Bigger cam, heads, etc? For your current mods in a dd I'd say a 2800-3000 would more than get the job done for you. If you plan to go bigger cam, centrifugal blower or turbo in the future, you might want to step it up a few hundred more rpm. I had a 3000 in my truck before I even put a cam in it and I liked it. Like others have said, just make sure you stick with a good name brand converter. Don't cheap out and buy one from Joe Blows transmission shop that claims to have built it themselves and its the most badass converter on the planet...things will not end well. I have had great luck with my current PATC converter in the 80e and also my old PATC in the 65e. My first converter was a TCS billet and it was nice too, just sold it to go bigger way back when. I have a feeling I know who Zippy will recommend to go with.
  11. Just south of Ft. Worth here. Welcome
  12. You can come on here and try to justify your ridiculous asking price all you want to but the truth of the matter is that this truck has clearly not been taken care of like it should have been while in your ownership. Whether you drove it in the rain or down a muddy road even is irrelevant. When I saw this truck in person at the 2012 meet in KC you couldn't find a single finger print on any of the polished or chrome pieces even if you looked with a magnifying glass. Just the fact that you posted such a disgusting picture of the engine bay compared to what it should look like when properly taken care of is enough to throw your credibility out the window. As well as not even being able to type up a proper sale ad with the actual modifications to the truck. So you had someone do an 80e swap for you because the 65e took a shit, big deal. An 80e swap definitely doesn't cost what you claim unless you're incapable of doing any of the work yourself and pay outrageously marked up prices for every single part that went towards it. I doubt you could even come close to returning this truck to its previous condition from before you got your uncaring hands all over it. Or should I say your mechanics dirty ass hands that have apparently been molesting every square inch of the engine bay. That truck IS worth money, don't get me wrong there, But you're not going to get that price for it with the condition that you have let it slip into on top of not even knowing how to properly advertise the truck for what it is. Your claims of how much money was invested into this truck is also irrelevant to the asking price. YOU did not build this truck, therefore you have no idea the time and/or money that went into it. All you know is that you got it for a ridiculous deal, spent a little money out of your own pocket for someone else to work on it, drove the piss out of it and ruined the condition of most of the items that took the longest time to construct, and now you are trying to sell it to make a profit or "break even" as you claim. Horseshit in my opinion. It makes me sick to see any of these trucks in peoples hands that won't take care of them but this one especially sucks because I know the time and effort that the people who had their hands in building it put into it. I hope you do sell the truck, whatever the cost to the new owner. I just hope whoever steps up to buy it takes better care of it than you have.
  13. Makes me want to message the guy just to remind him that he didn't build this truck, nor did he pay anywhere near his asking price for it even including the 80e swap and whatever else he has had done to it since it left Brians hands. Not to mention the fact that it probably looks worse now then it ever has.
  14. Too bad its not Magnacharged and everything under the hood looks like shit compared to when Brian owned that truck. Shame to see someone mistreat such a beautiful truck.

  17. You get no explanation here, Jason. Thats just how the cookie crumbles around here.
  18. This is exactly some of what I'm talking about. Take your youtube videos of your truck "camming" and running a vette and get out of this thread because its not relevant to this thread at all...
  19. I don't need any more convincing than that. Two threads deleted within an hour with no form of explanation from the mods. This site has gone to hell along with most of the people who run it. For the select few that are still worth a damn, I apologize in advance if you chose to stay and be a part of a forum that used to seem more like a family rather than a bunch of no good, power pushing a-holes that instead of standing behind factual information posted by a knowledgeable person just shove them under the rug along with anyone who supports keeping this forum alive, truthful and informative. I refuse to be a part of such a place that condemns its members for posting factual information and standing up for what they know is right just because someone gets their feelings hurt and can't stand being told that they are wrong. It's been a good run, and I've made several good friends since I've been a part of this forum. But needless to say, it's not the same place it used to be by far. This post will be carried over to several other forums, beyond the reach of the moderators here, so that it cannot be so easily deleted and forgotten. There needs to be some serious changes around here and I for one stand with Brian, as I know several others do as well. Zach
  20. I bought all of my swap parts as well as my converter from PATC. I've done quite a bit of business with them and have always had good luck. As for the Trans itself, mine is just a stock 80e with an upgraded clutches kit installed and a shift kit. Which is more than stout enough for the mods you're wanting to do. I wouldn't blow 4-6 grand on the transmission to swap to an 80e. Shoot me a PM if you want and I can help you out with all the 80e stuff, may even be able to get you a decent deal on stuff from PATC. EDIT: I also have the part number for the correct length front driveshaft if you want to try and source one used or online rather than have a new one made for the front. I got lucky and found a new pull out on eBay for around 100 bucks or so. PN: 15182094
