  1. I've had both a P1 and a D1 on my truck and the difference between the two was pretty significant. The P1 made plenty of power and made for a quick truck but the D1 really brought the power on faster, made more boost with less effort and was quite a bit more fun to drive. Now, on the other side of things... To really get the full potential out of a procharger you're going to have to take a few things into consideration. 1. The supplied intercooler, bypass valve and piping setup is for lack of a better word, garbage. The intercooler mounting location and efficiency is pretty terrible. A good front mount intercooler behind the grille will be a massive improvement, but will also require you to route new piping to and from the cooler. The bypass valve that comes with the kits is also a piece of junk, they are known to leak, even when new. Spending the extra money on one of their race valves will be the best thing you can do to one of their kits besides the intercooler setup. Not only does it work extremely well but they sound amazing. 2. Your transmission will definitely need to have some beefing up done. But as many people before you have found out, even the biggest baddest built 60e, 65e, 70e transmission will most likely fail at some point or another if you abuse the shit out of it. If you dont plan to beat the piss out of it daily and run a crazy amount of boost a fully built 60e will probably be fine for street use. I didnt start having transmission problems until I started getting crazy with my truck so I swapped to an 80e to avoid further headaches. Not necessary by any means for everyone, but I for one feel it was a good upgrade in my personal build. Also, a good tranny cooler will help quite a bit. 3. Towing won't be too big of an issue, just don't expect to have the instant torque like you would get out of a roots style blower like a maggie. I towed a heavy ass uhaul car hauler with my fourth gen camaro on it about 3 hours one way and the truck did fine even with the D1, 80e and a failry large converter. With a 65e, I'd try to be as nice to it as possible when towing. Ultimately, I loved driving my truck with the procharger on it, and they definitely make excellent power. Unfortunately I have no idea what kind of HP or TQ numbers my truck ever made because it's awd and finding an awd dyno with a wheelbase that can fit a full size truck on is not an easy thing to do, even in this giant ass state I live in lol. Now, if I was going to do it all over again I'd probably opt for a tvs2300 like L8ERBRO did with his truck. Maybe its because I've already done the Procharger thing and I'd want to do something different or maybe it's because I feel like the maganchargers are just a bit more maintenance friendly and easier to work with. But either way you decide to go you will see a night and day difference in the truck, just get ready for it to become addicting quickly and you will want more and more. Trust me, been there and done that haha.
  2. With all the things that "could" go wrong with the On3 kit whether it is the manifold being cheap and cracking or the fact that you have to modify the cooling system just to get the kit on the truck (even though the kit was "designed" for these trucks) I would just spend the extra money and get a kit from Rick @ Trick Performance. I bought several things from Rick to build my own turbo setup and he's a super nice guy to deal with, very knowledgeable and willing to help with anything you might need before during and after your purchase. If you're on a strict budget then you might consider looking into a used Magnacharger or Procharger kit as your first form of forced induction. Going cheap on a turbo kit can and most likely will end up being quite expensive in the long run. Just my .02. Happy modding!
  3. I could use one of them for sure. If you gave buyers for them individually I'd definitely be interested in buying one from you.
  4. Back to the top. Need to find her a new home. Price dropped in first post.
  5. I have a camaro to fix. Any offers?
  6. Interior is perfect minus the drivers side arm rest has three small tears from years of resting my elbow there.
  7. Wait till you put the long tubes on and get rid of the cats...you wont think the Corsa is too quiet after that.
  8. I have no idea how I missed your post, very sorry. Mileage is around 135k (haven't driven it much lately so I dont know exact mileage off the top of my head). Mods are in my sig, everything besides the D1 is still on the truck. So cammed, stall, 80e swap, ARH long tubes with custom made 4" exhaust, etc. Spread the word for me fellas, I'd like to find a new home for her.
  9. Same thing happened to mine a few years ago. I had to have a body shop remove the cladding, re-shape it to the door and then put it back on with new tape. Haven't had a problem with it since then but if it has caught too many times and tweaked the cladding enough it would benefit greatly to take it to someone who can refit it to the door perfectly so the natural curve of the cladding doesnt work against the new tape and pop right back off again in the same spot. Just my .02
  10. Thank you sir. I just wish I had the desire to keep driving and keeping up with it but I'm an idiot and I am back in my f-body funk again, haha.
  11. As much as I hate to do it, the time has come for my truck to find a new home. I am the second owner and have owned the truck since Jan. 2009. Clean and clear TX title in my name, no loans/liens any of that crap to worry about. I will update this thread later on when I have the time but for immediate inquires about the truck please feel free to PM or text me and I will be more than happy to give you a call when I am not at work to discuss anything and everything about the truck. I don't need or have to sell the truck, but I hate not being able to drive and enjoy it like I used to and have moved on to other things. My number is 903-918-9380 for inquire purposes and I am going to start out asking $14,500 $13,500 obo. Thanks, Zach
  12. Wastegate is sold. Everything else still available and needs to gooooo!
  13. Pondering the idea of changing directions again with my truck, really just depends on if I can unload all these parts Ive already gathered for the turbo build. All prices are OBO and do not include shipping. Everything is brand new in its original packaging minus the intake/rails. Those have been on my truck for about 100 miles or so. TRICK T6 Twin Scroll Manifold -- $650 Procharger Big Red open race valve -- $400 Comp Cam specced by Martin @ Tick -- $400 Holley Hi-Ram Intake for cathedral heads with 90mm throttle body opening. Intake also includes Holley fuel rails and all fittings/braided fuel lines to make it a bolt on and go piece for 03+ returnless trucks/suvs. Does not include throttle body or x-link. -- $750 Pictures of intake and everything included with it are still to come. You might be wondering why I am asking a new price for a "used" intake, and the answer is because not only does this include the intake and rails, but also another $150-200 in AN fittings, fuel line, vacuum block, etc. Everything except for the intake can be shipped same day as payment is received. Text is the best way to get the fastest response (nine zero three-918-9380) but I also check my PMs fairly regularly and will update this post with pictures later this evening. Thanks! Zach
  14. I had the same problem, wound up being an injector leaking pressure after the truck was shut off. Oil in my catch can and at oil changes smelled like gas pretty bad and truck was a bit hard to start after sitting for a day or two. Swapped injectors and never had the problem again. I'd definitely do a leak down test first though like 2003_supersport suggested. That should tell you for sure if that's your problem.
  15. Tuning in house but asking if the stock fuel pump can support upwards of 800-900hp? Good luck sir.
  16. Anyone know where to get one for a decent price? Mine shit the bed and the cheapest my transmission guy could source one for was nearly $1,000 bucks.
  17. To run any 87/90mm throttle body on your truck you will need the x-link.
  18. The first setup was too loud? Man youd hate my truck then...haha. Looks good though and more props to doing it all yourself.
  19. A, and donate your Archers to me, since they have the same name as my son and all...it only make sense.
  20. That would work out well for someone! All anyone would need for a complete swap would be the throttle body x-link. Someone snag this stuff up
  21. Thanks for all the interest guys but I was able to find a local buyer.
