I did think of that. But wasn't my first thought due to it being brand new. But anything possible

Any reason why I would be seeing 10 pounds of boost on the stock 4.25 pulley? I was told the stock pulley should only be about 5 to 7?
Any thoughts?

Well I got my whipple 2300ax hooked up with 60 pound injectors and a zippy tune. The whipple came with a 4.25 pulley. Today when I tested it at wot I seen about 10.25 pounds of boost. The 4.25 pulley should be about 5 to 7 psi. Why am I seeing 10? Makes no sense as I don't want to run 10 with the stock internals. And whipple tech support is worthless! Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I didn't have any on my Truck with the stock exhaust.

I'm selling my stock fuel injectors out my 03 SSS. They worked fine and had no issues. I just increased the size for my supercharger install. If anyone is interest please let me know. If you need pics I can email them to you. Just leave your email in a comment. Thanks. Best offer gets them.

Well I'm started my supercharger install this weekend that I bought off a buddy of mine used. It's a whipple 2300ax. I did not use the whipple tronics (junk) haha. Anyway I just increased the injector size to 60 lbs ers and ordered a tuned computer from zippy. On the boost bypass valve there's 3 Ports. I used a hand vacuum pump and found what port opens the actuator on a increase in vacuum. Now that valve from what I'm understanding is a normally open valve. It takes a increase in vacuum to open fully so basically as a idle position as the engine as its most vacuum. When u floor it the vacuum decreases so the valve closes. Hope I have that correct? Anyway should I just hook a hose up from that port and go right to the manifold?
Thanks guys hoping to have this done tomorrow.

Sorry to hear all your bad luck. I've had that happen before on a brand new one. Rare but it does happen.

Time to upgrade to a 145 amp alternator(DR44G).....belt dust is a bad sign, usually indicates a failing pulley bearing or a slipping belt.
That dr44g part number what brand is that?

Ill deff be there for sure

I have 2 factory ss cats just sitting there If you need them just message me

Thanks man I've done that for like 3 days now plus called. I try again thanks.

Yes sir I did.

Ok thanks I'm on my way home now ill give that a try. But I have a record button on my interface module?
-
I recently purchased hp tuners and I'm going step by step learning how to use it. So far I was able to save my factory tune on the editor part and ive used the scanner part to see live data and stuff like that. I want to use the record feature to log graphs to send to tuners so they can send me a updated tune back and reflash my computer. How the heck do u record lol? I can't figure it out for the life of me. I've read all over the hptuners site and also on the help section of hptuners. Still wont work. Comes up with a error message. Does anyone have the correct step by step process for this? Thanks much.

Well 3 weeks ago I ordered a tuned computer from zippy for my set up with the supercharger and all. Have him all my credit card info and was told it would be about a week. Well 2 weeks later I was never billed or called. I tried calling a bunch of times for like 3 days and finally got a hold of him. He apologized it took so long and said he was sending my computer out the very next day! Well now 3 weeks later I still have yet to be billed and no computer and won't answer his text or phone. Does this sound normal? I would really like to have this guy tune my computer he's the best from what I have read and told. Buy I'm being held up? Any ideas? Anyone good buddies with him lol??? Help a brother out.

The front and rear diff take about 2 1/2 quarts each. You will know when there full because the fluid will pour out the full hole. The same for the transfer case. As for the Trans I'm not 100 percent sure. I would say about 12 or 13 quarts

Well I started at at 9 am this morning and just got done lol. What a long day! Anyway took the intake off and the driver side cylinder head just to drill and tap the rear exhaust header bolt. Almost don't seem worth it lol but it needed it bad. New head gasket arp bolts and intake gaskets. Torqued everything down to specs and cranked the key my baby fired right up thank got I never been so nervous in my life lol. Anyway thanks to all you guys for all the info regarding this process.
Thanks again guys!

Does it have a electric fan conversion? What stat did he put in the stock or a lower temp? The stat could be bad, or low on coolant.
-
That's ok the messages just overlapped. Thanks for all your help I think that should do it. I appreciate the picture on the intake
-
Ok great thanks and I actually ordered all arp bolts. So I just have to torque them and be done. Thanks for checking
-
Great thanks man. I just ordered a head gasket from koons chevy and head bolts from jegs. I also got a set of intake bolts Also. You wouldn't happen to know the specs on the head bolts and the intake bolts do you? Torque specs that is?

It's a auto meter electric guage. Ill check that out when I get home I do have a pressure guage I can apply pressure with. Would it matter where I'm hooked up at the manifold at with my autometer? Right now I'm hooked up on the 90 degree elbow that connects from the discharge of the whipple to the manifold.
