  1. Tell that gay pineapple humping Makani to log onto the damn site once and a while... did he forget who his hommies were??
  2. Pay close attention to what cars have vertical doors in the picture
  3. Sounds good to me... if its a saturday we'll have to cruise the main drag of Victoria Gardens past the yardhouse... its usually packed... if you want attention... we'll get ATTENTION.
  4. Easily done in one day... but I don't wanna get him in trouble or anything. If hes doing all the work I feel bad... is he gonna want anything for his time/use of the lift??
  5. Probably Jet Stream Blue Metallic... if it was the same color of all the press photos... and it will be the only ZR1 issued in that color... its available on any 08+ C6 or C6 Z06 as a $750 color upgrade option.
  6. That would be SIIIIIIICK!! I owe you huge if you can work that out. Hmmm... trade... You know I'll take care of you either way man... the truck need another buffing? I know you don't want to trade me for transmission work
  7. possibly next weekend or the weekend after... everything should be arriving early next week. Installs shouldn't be that hard... the brakes are just a rotor swap and pad change for ceramics... I already have the belltech springs in... just adding the DJM upper arms to get it down a couple inches more in the front and the rear is air ride so that takes all of 5 minutes to adjust. Would be really nice if we could do all this on a lift..... *cough* PAGING ADAM!!
  8. Got my R1 concepts brake kit on the way and my DJM arms should be here anyday now.... Whos down for a little install party at my place?? I could use some extra hands. Pizza and beer is on me.
  9. AGAIN?!? Add 2 more to the list - elcaminoss00 & tuneace from TrailblazerSS.com will be coming.
  10. Alright assholes... consider yourselves lucky... I'm bumping a detail appointment in order to be there Am I gonna be the only TBSS... maybe I should announce this on the TBSS forums?? BTW - nothing against BJ's... but theres much better 'scenery' (translated - women) at the yardhouse... not to mention the 300 beers on tap. Why not just meet there instead of making it a 2 stop night?
  11. Love the push pull fan idea... thats slick.
  12. great guy to buy from if you need detail supplies. fast shipping top not service.
  13. You idea stealing rat bastard!! J/K... looks good man. BTW - Got the paypal confirmation today... I'll hit you up when I get the replacement tails.
  14. I've actually been pulled over for mine already. The cop used a meter on them and said I was legal, but cutting it close. With a TBSS we don't have to worryabout it as much b/c the real thing they're looking for is reflectors, since the TBSS has the seperate reflectors built into the bumper we're fine... not so lucky for the silverado guys but I'm sure it won't get you hassled anymore than window tint.
  15. I think this is a step backward IMO... I like the current design better. That slanted grill makes it look like its not put together properly and they're trying to hard to take styling cues from the charger I think. Maybe debaged, color matched, and lowered I might like it, but as of now I say it looks pretty bad. As for the HP its still nothing to get worked up over... as we all know the last HEMI was rated at 345hp and that truck has a hard time getting out of its own way. 380hp in a dodge (for whatever reason) never seems to translate to the same as 380hp in a GM... they're terribly inefficient.
  16. I'll forgive you for picking on a TBSS... mainly b/c those STSVs are pure sex
  17. Agreed... plus yardhouse is at Victoria Gardens... much better spot to garner attention with our rides and a wide open parking structure roof for us to do pics on.
  18. Shit... in my backyard... mind if a TBSS tags along... all I ask is we shoot for a little later in the afternoon.
  19. This was the weekend... the TBSS had been neglected long enough. I had been so busy with customers cars, my regular job, the baby, and general stuff around the holidays that I had barely washed it... it had been since before Halloween that it had seen a good thorough cleaning. I also haven't taken any good pics since installing the Belltech springs and my new tinted IPCW LED tails + 3rd brake light.I started Saturday morning, completely detailed the interior, conditioned the leather, shampood the carpets, cleaned and dressed the plastics. I also knocked out the undercarrige, engine bay, wheels (resealed with REJEX) and tires on Saturday as well. Today (sunday) started the big project... cleaning and buffing the paint.Started with the foam gun and some optimum car wash at full strength & the 4th largest metering nozel. 2 buckets of clean water each with a grit gaurd I did a complete scrub down using a brand new sheep skin mit, rinsing the it in each bucket after every panel to be doubly sure not to contaminate the paint. After drying with brand new Adams WWMF towels and QD spray I attacked the paint with DER Tuff Stuff on a white durfoam pad. No need to clay as the paint wasn't that rough, but I wanted to prep. DER Tuff is an excellent paint prep cleaner wax for the times you don't need to clay. Followed that up with multiple passes of Adams Fine Machine Polish on the white durafoam pad. Started at 4000opm, but wasn't seeing the results I wanted so bumped up to 5000opm and worked each panel until I was completely satisfied.I followed that up with Adams Machine Superwax on the gray durafoam pad at 3000opm. I hand buffed it off with a brand new Adams super plush mf polishing cloth. Tomorrow AM after the 12 hour set time (adams recommendation) I will top that with a layer or 2 of brilliant spray glaze for some added pop... but even without it the results are amazing.Enough jibba jabba... heres the pics fools!! Couple more...
  20. Congrats and good job going fixed... so many people get suckerd into crazy adjustable or interest only loans on their first buy and end up getting screwed down the line. Best of luck... not a prime time to buy, but its better than renting IMO.
  21. Yeah... if/when you get this straightened out throw that POS superchips tuner in the trash and get a custom tune.
  22. Sounds like a typical JGC SRT8
  23. with the amount of time superchips spends on research, the sheer number of them on the market, and the overall mild nature of the tune they provide I'd be about 99% sure the superchips tuner had absolutely NOTHING to do with it... of course thats the reason your dealer is going to lean on b/c they can and it saves them from buying you a new motor.
  24. The color definitely looks better in the sun... all that flake and the hints of green that start to come out are amazing. I spent the better part of the day yesterday getting it buffed out and prepped for a corvette cruise/show he'll be hitting this weekend. I love this color.
